It's a pain in the ass but I'll just watch tonight's game at a bar. Thankfully Philadelphia is smoke free, so that's the only issue I ever had when watching games at a bar.

Sorry I don't find old games exciting at all. In fact if I find out the score to a game I won't even watch it then. So that means for myself, NFL network is only good for the NFL season.

I used to be the same way, but sometimes when there is a classic game on, its just awesome to watch. Hell the other day i was watching the 2003 Lakers/Mav's game where the Lakers came back from a 27 point lead in the 4th quarter. I know its a different sport, but same point. I caught myself all excited because it was just awesome to watch such a comeback like that.

Watching old classic games can be very very entertaining.

As much as I have Favre (I'm from Minnesota) I really hope the Pack just tears up Dallas tonight and silences the naysayers that say they can't compete with the Cowboys.

I despise Dallas so I hope the Packers win. I've always been a Favre fan too. It's nice to see him recover from the shit as season he had last year.

Watching old classic games is cool, but watching the Bills and the Jets playing 3 months after the season ended is just laughable.

if you have a buffalo wild wings near you, they should be showing the game. great food, great bar, decent prices, and they won't kick you out if you're watching a game. that's where i'm off to tonight!

I was pretty surprised when I found out that the NFL network is this uncommon. Every house I have ever been to, and used the TV, had the NFL network. Oh well...thankfully I have it as well.

I dunno...

I'd say the blame ratio here is something like 75-25, maybe 80-20.

yea, the NFL is being a bit pissy. But the cable fuckwads are driving it down to where it is.

I have Directv so I don't have to worry, but the Cable Companies are fighting a war they can't win. As soon as they start bleeding subs to Dish or Directv you'll see the NFL Network on those cable companies line-up in the basic tier sooner than you can blink an eye.

I'm surprised Directv or Dish hasn't launched an advertising campaign based on this weeks game to try and grab some subs.

I like the NFL Network but my only complaint is the studio show isn't in HD and it makes the network look second rate compared to NBAtv.

And when the Cowboys end up winning at the end, it'll be for horseshit calls like that.

Al Harris CLEARLY stripped the ball from Owens before he went out of bounds. The fucking ref that blew 'forward progress' was behind them, and the ref watching the ball called it Packers ball.

Yup, it's the ref's night tonight.
