+23 Internets | While I am sure it will be unpleasant for Barriod, he knew what he was doing.

| There is no internets | Stephen A Smith claims race has to do with the charges. I really, really dislike that guy. How the fuck did he get that job.

| Bonds is a millionare he will hire the best lawyers and win OJ-style plus his star power will help him with any jury. I don't see him going to jail. When was the last real public celebrity figure actually given the punishament that they deserved (a punishment that any normal person would have gotten)? Let me note that I do not want this to happen I think if you do the crime you should pay the time and I am sick of the rich and famous getting off while the poor always go to jail. But it is going to happen again, which is sad.

| He's not on trial for using steroids. He is on trial for lying about using them. If he sticks to his "I didn't know they were illegel, honest!" routine and somehow convinces the jury that he is sincere then he won't get convicted. He will, however, be known as a 'roider... and that could certainly rewrite the record books.

The Feds don't indict you unless they are pretty sure they can get you. The Feds are also nothing without a rat. The problem with this is no one can prove that Bonds did not know the true identity of what he was taking. Who knows what Bonds thought? Unless they have e-mails/photos/video or something, I don't see this meaning anything. Even with a rat, it is their word against Bonds. Even if he is convicted I doub't he'd go to jail, he didn't commit a crime, he just lied. He more than likely will cop a plea if the evidence piles up. edit: Yeah, I read the indictment. I don't know how anyone can prove anything that he said wasn't true. Meaning, how can anyone say that Bonds didn't think it was what he supposedly said he was told it was. They'd need something tangible. Last edited by arkk91 : 11-15-2007 at 08:06 PM. | |

| Yeah, that is what I was saying. He didn't know what he was taking was illegal.. which imo is BS. It's quite the coincedence that Anderson was released today as well. Wonder if he will end up face down in the bay.
