Because sarcasm in a completely textual setting with no inflections of voice or facial features is totally obvious!!

Not when there are people like Stephen A. Smith spewing the shit he's spewing on national radio/tv. And he's not being sarcastic in the slightest.

If you scroll down to look at the after photos without his head, they look like your average football player. Nothing to get to worked up over. However, when you include that freakish head of his, you have to question some things.

He probably has taken shit, but the difference in his looks isn't that big of a deal. Most of the middle-aged or older people I know went through the same thing. When they were in their 20s they looked pretty good. After they got older they didn't necessarily become fat, but they were thicker.

I don't know you personally, so I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing most middle-aged/older people you know aren't professional baseball players. Most middle-aged/older people I know got fatter than they were at 21, not ripped out of their minds. Also, most of those people's heads didn't get bigger. Their nose and ears, yeah, but not their actual head.

I know Ricky Henderson was an exception, but Bonds went from stealing an average of 37 bases a year from 1986 to 1998, to 7 bases a year from 1999 until today. Yes, I know injuries played a part, but why would he all of a sudden decided to become a power hitter instead of remain one of the best all around players in the game? From 1990 to 1994, he was always in the top five for the MVP vote, winning the award three times, and coming in second place once. It's not even like he wasn't hitting HRs early in his career either.

When certain people start lifting they can gain muscle mass fast. I am the way. I just got back into it 3 weeks ago and it already looks like i been at it for a while now. I am 31. When i was in my early 20's i used to be a work out freak and the muscle came easy without any additional help. I gained it so fast that people at the gym would be like wtf are you on. I just ate chiken like you wouldnt freaking beleive haha. I never once took any outside help from any kind of health shake or anything.

I am not saying Barry didnt do the roids. I am just saying its possible to gain muscle mass without them.

Gaining muscle mass sure, but your feet don't grow at the age of 35. Your head doesn't swell up either, no matter how big your ego may get.

Don't roids also effect like, growth plates that should be dormant? I know it can make bones and cartilage grow in weird ways.

Zeste come on..

They dont call it Human growth hormone because it makes you fat.

Increasing height

Height growth in childhood is the best known effect of GH action, and appears to be stimulated by at least two mechanisms.

1. GH directly stimulates division and multiplication of chondrocytes of cartilage. These are the primary cells in the growing ends (epiphyses) of children's long bones (arms, legs, digits).
2. GH also stimulates production of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1, formerly known as somatomedin C), a hormone homologous to proinsulin.[5] The liver is a major target organ of GH for this process, and is the principal site of IGF-1 production. IGF-1 has growth-stimulating effects on a wide variety of tissues. Additional IGF-1 is generated within target tissues, making it apparently both an endocrine and an autocrine/paracrine hormone. IGF-1 also has stimulatory effects on osteoblast and chondrocyte activity to promote bone growth.

And conversely you can be on every drug in the world and not get any results. Literally this kid is juiced to the gills with 14 inch arms at 6'5 170 pounds. He runs 1.5 grams of testosterone per week if you know what that means.

Billy Guns - The Official Website

Its all genetics in the end. You could have trained like bonds, taken bonds drugs, but you still wouldn't make it out of high school sports.

Billy Guns can juice himself to death, but hes still not bigger or better for it.

Let the true athletes like Bonds take it to the next level. Its progressive sports. Athletes should not be prevented from becoming better athletes. Its their craft and it should be respected.

Bonds isn't this guy, so why should he be treated like it? Hes a professional athlete, let them progress their abilities.
