| Scott Boras is simply doing his job. Getting as much money as he can for his clients. He is very, very good at it. It is baseball's fucked up revenue structure that allows things to happen the way they do, it is not Scott Boras's fault in any way, shape, or form. And seriously, I don't mean to sound condescending, but do some research about how much revenue the teams that have their own cable networks pull in that they don't have to even account for in revenue sharing. You'll realize why teams like the Yankees and Red Sox have an advantage that is nearly insurmountable as long as their management is paying attention. The Rockies made the World Series because they were playing in the NL, where the overall talent level is significantly lower. |

More and more teams will start gunning for the local network. I can't downplay it, I'm not that smug. It gives those teams a huge advantage except the Orioles. They're well, I don't know. They should let every contract run out except for their young guys and start from scratch.

It's not his fault, and you're just buying into owners using the media to try to turn him into the boogeyman for trying to advocate for his clients.

| Stop calling A-Rod and Boras greedy. Why should he play for less than he can get? When you work a job to you voluntarily take a wage cut? Bottom line: baseball is a business, and the players play because they're paid, regardless of their team affiliation. |

| Heh, now they are saying there is collusion amongst owners to not sign A-Rod and force him to take a more reasonable offer.

Fuck You Boras. Fuck you A-Rod. This is what you get. You didn't want to take a 250 million dollar extension from the Yankees because you were sooooo sure that you would get your 80 year 4 trillion dollar contract on the open market. Take it and shove it up your fucking asses. No one wants to play a single player a 1/3 of their payroll. Roll with the times and don't go whining to the fucking players association.
