| There is no internets | so cruel. I dislike all east coast teams, but Joe was a good manager, I respect that at least. Hopefully George let's him leave with some diginity, Joe at the very least deserves that.

| lol that is a great picture but I actually think he is a good coach and the Yankees losing was not his fault really. Since you titled this "Moment of Zen" I have to say this has been a great sports month for me so far: Boston College is #4, the Red Sox are in the ALCS, the Pats are 5-0, and the Yankees lost and might dismantle 1/2 their team. Of all of these BC being #4 is actually my favorite, I just hope they can stay undefeated the whole season but VTech is gonna be a killer I just know it. Sure all of these teams will not stay perfect but I have enjoyed watching them all play so far, that is all I can ask for as a sports fan. And I understand the Boston hate but they are my teams and I love them to death, if your teams all were kicking ass too you would be on cloud 9 too. |

| Joe has always been bad at managing his pen, but I don't think you can blame their failure to win the WS since 2000 on him. Alot of factors fell into place against them, and hell, only 1 team wins it all. Their lack of quality pitchers, especially in the bullpen over the past few years, has really done them in. Can you remember the last time a Yankee pitcher got insanely hot in the postseason the way Beckett and Penny did with Florida for example? Or Weaver for St Louis, Washburn for Anaheim? Joe could've managed them better, but the Yankees have had shit for pitching. |
