ESPN is reporting that the vote was finalized. Out of 10 million voters, 8 million people voted it be sent to the Hof with an asterisk. I voted for this also. I can't think of a more fitting punishment for the ball. Forget federal investigations, Bonds will have to live with the shame of America believing that he cheated for the rest of his life.

I voted to just send it to the hall (which is probably what will end up happening). Whether you like Bonds or hate him and regardless what you think of his record, it will still stand. Putting an "*" on it is nothing but a fucking insult.

Look, putting a stupid mark on the ball won't change anything. The record will still stand. You're not a fucking hero for it. In fact, you look like some rich cocksucker who wasted a shitload of money to try and get some publicity for yourself. Most people didn't know or didn't care who Mark Ecko was.
