| Rick Ankiel reportedly gets HGH Interestingly, it was in 2004 a year before it was banned so I don't think they can do anything to him, but it still puts a damper on the feel good story. ESPN - Report: Cards' Ankiel linked to HGH case - MLB |

| ESPN is now reporting that Troy Glaus of the Blue Jays was also busted from the same pharmacy with roids. Looks like that pharmacy bust that got those 10 wrestlers from last week is now yielding other athletes also. |

| Why the hell would you use your real name and information when ordering illegal or even questionable drugs? Freaking morons. You have millions of dollars and you can't pay some bum a few grand to accept a UPS package and drop it off somewhere for you? |

| Yeah, plus when it happened in the time frame, he was out with injury PLUS the substance wasn't banned. Oh no, he was doing a legal substance (at the time) to heal faster from tommy john surgery! HOW DARE HE! |

+18 Internets | It's like the Rodney Harrison thread all over again, honestly it kind of makes me sick. Are we forgetting the guy completely 'lost it' and was at the bottom of the totem poll? Pretty sure it's still illegal without a valid prescription (regardless of the MLB rules)

| Reportedly he had a perscription from a doctor who got it from a bad source or something which is why he got figured in the whole thing... supposedly it was widely used for people with tommy john. Heck he didn t even play any baseball durring that period. |

| He had a valid prescription according to the article. He was using it to recover from injuries, had it legally, and was using it before it was banned by MLB. Unless there's a lot of facts missing it seems like he was well within the rules. |

+18 Internets | Him doing it within the rules is fine with me. Hell Harrison doing it is fine with more. What always bothered me about situations like this is the complete double standard applied. Before the prescription thing came out people were already like meh who cares, FEEL GOOD STORY!
