| You can go back and forth on that one. It comes down to personal choice. You can make an argument for both. You certainly are. Nice drunken homer rant though. Last edited by Draegan : 09-24-2007 at 11:54 AM. |

| RIGHT NOW, there are 3 tiers of QB's/receivers in the league tier 1 has 2 and only 2 - currently- it will change manning/harrison & co for colts and brady/moss & co for patriots tier2 has romo/owens and ~6 other qb/receiver combos.. tier3 has the rest of the league without their Receiver's the QB while good, doesn't elevate their game to the pure elite of the league. for the past 4ish years it's been manning/brady as the #1 and 2 qb's in the league. with most having P.Manning higher than Brady-due to his receiving corps. This year, for the first time-ever- Brady has a true "stud" receiver corps atleast as good if not better than Mannings: moss welker watson(TE) stallworth Gaffney.... Brady was "elite" with Average/slightly above average Receivers...well so far the numbers speak for themselves as to how great he is with a great receiving crew..... right NOW Brady is league MVP...will he get it? who knows but if his numbers stay where they are now, he will get it this year. |

Also, NFL commentators and former QB's have also said Peyton is the best QB they've seen play. Ever. Of course, commentators do tend to go crazy. I've heard the same commentators kiss the ass of whichever team they're covering and don't think about what they said the week before. I wouldn't call more rings a good indicator that Brady is better. NE has had a top 10 defense(or nearly so) every year since 2000, I believe. That's like saying Terry Bradshaw is better than Dan Marino because the ring ratio is 5 to 0.

| Manning is going to hold every record associated with the position as long as his career doesn't end prematurely. He will also get another ring or 4 before all is said and done. As of right now I would call them pretty equal. It can shift from week to week.. when all is said and done however, Manning should clearly be a rank above. |

And stop being mean to my QB! He's just... just... misunderstood! And inconsistent. And not his brother. SHUT UP! /weep Honestly, though, I'd rank him in the middle. If anything, at least one step above Grossman. You gotta give me that! Please?

| Boy you're a fucking tool. I never said Eli was an amazing QB. I said he was in the middle of the pack. Good meaning above average, so please get over yourself. It's your opinion. But I don't know why you hate Eli so much. You can say a QB sucks, and thats fine, but the hatred oozing from your e-thugging is very heavy. You must be a Cowboy fan or an Eagle fan? I havn't read this thread from the beginning but I'm pretty sure your rampant drivel is littered all over it, and I havn't the time to sift through it. |

| The Bears need to toss Grossman away like a used rag. He's way too inconsistent to be a starter. I would say the Bears got to the Superbowl last year "in spite" of Grossman and not because of him. The Bears are reeling a bit with injuries, both offensively and defensively, and this is where a quality QB could pick up his game and make the needed plays. Grossman can't do it. Griese should be given a chance. |

+19 Internets | I think Eli has moments of showing he deserves to have that last name. The weapons around him are not good though. Plaxico and Shockey drop a ton of passes and I feel like his play calling given to him is really bad. I feel like he's like David Carr on the Giants, has the tools, lacks weapons and good coaching. They coaches obviously don't trust him when 90% of his passes seem to be 2 yard dumps, then long plays like yesterday where they air it out to Burress he drops it right in his hands. I don't think his credibility should be gone because he called Eli good, he's improved a ton I think. And just my 2cp of how I would rank QBs (At the moment-- not over time or I'd have to go Favre and not going just off 3 weeks of the season or Bulger and Brees would be at the bottom and we know they aren't that bad). Peyton Manning Tom Brady Carson Palmer Drew Brees Marc Bulger Brett Favre Tony Romo Donovan McNabb Phillip Rivers Ben Roethlisberger Matt Hasselbeck Vince Young (maybe not from a pure passer standpoint, but he has nothing around him and wins) Jake Delhomme Jeff Garcia Jay Cutler Alex Smith Chad Pennington Jon Kitna Steve McNair Matt Leinart Eli Manning Matt Schaub (gotta do more than start 3 games to get credit imo) Trent Green J.P. Losman Jason Campbell Josh McCown Damon Huard David Garrard Joey Harrington Derek Anderson Rex Grossman Tarvaris Jackson Really after Manning / Brady / Palmer it changes from week to week. Bulger has moments where he looks like a top 5 QB. Delhomme, Roflberger and McNabb have similar things happen to them, where they look legit then they follow it up with a 100 yard passing game. |

| I havn't had a chance to watch any SF games closely, but why do you have him ranked so high? In three weeks he's thrown for a 51% completion percentage, 1 TD, 1 INT 460 yards in 83 pass attempts. To me this screams awful. However was he much better at the end of last year to warrant that ranking? |
