Which is totally meaningless after 1 game... #2 is Pennington. You're going to tell me Chad is that good?

Eli Manning will earn respect when he can be consistent in his play. He had a great game, true. Lets see how he does the rest of the year. He had some really good games in previous years and still managed to be medicore come years end.

As for Pats cheating, every fucking team does it. Get over it.

Leinart's off to a good start.
As a Bengals fan...Cincy is...uhh...alright.

Maybe as the year progresses they will mature into a legit team. Maybe they won't. 24 of their 27 points came off turnovers tonight. They were moving the ball fairly effectively in the first half, but things slowed down a lot in the 2nd as Baltimore made the adjustments.

The good news is the defense looked pretty average, which is a very good thing. Half of that is playing the Ravens, but the encouraging thing about it is they were generating a good pass rush, which is really key for them this year. Also, the turnovers are back for now...but I'd rather not return to 2005 Bengals D where we live and die by the turnover.

The real question is "Why do the Pats need to cheat?" Seriously, the Pats coaches and sideline could have been playing Metroid 3 while calling plays and still won that game.

The other comment is, "how fucking stupid do you have to be getting caught?". It isnt cheating until you get caught, they got caught, they were cheating. Really that simple.

Jesus Leinart is so fucking slow tonight. Neither QB has thrown a pass for over 10 yards. And I have seen Fitzgerald beat his coverage a couple times now. Matt just needs to air it out to him, he is taking way too long to make a decision. Penalties out the ass too. I don't know why I am surpised, same shit every year.

huh? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. That is how cheaters justify cheating? So it is ok if all athletes do HGH and roids as long as they do not get caught?

Yes, and we will all cheer them on knowing they use it, as long as it hasnt been "confirmed." Shit, Lance Armstrong is all I gotta say.

Great ending to this game regardless. If SF wins, I'll put my foot in my mouth about Smith. he showed good poise and intelligence in getting them down the field and made a great run with that killer block. The pass was tremendous that got to the one. If the Cardinals lose, they had a guy to fall on it, and he missed it.

He's in. Ballgame. SF Leads.

hold the phone..They still got a chance with 16 seconds left.

now it's over. Boring game, but the last drive by the Niners was classic. I will refuse to judge SF's defense after beating the Cardinals, but they looked pretty good.

How much does Leinart suck? He has no accuracy past 15 yards. So disappointing.

I don't consider it cheating at all but if some want to call it that then so be it. Every team does it, outlaw it in the NFL outright and fine the shit out of them when caught if they want. Couldn't' care less but its not rocket science to see that if you know the play before the snap you have a huge advantage which is why coaches cover their mouths when calling in plays. Its pretty obvious its happening otherwise they wouldn't bother.

I would disagree with that. That would imply only about 4 teams are smart enough to use what they know through cheating. Also, New England is the only team that has gotten caught. Twice.

If every team did cheat, Grossman would look like Manning. I highly doubt that some coaches with real character would actually violate an NFL policy. Tony Dungy, Andy Reid, Mike Holmgren, and Lovie Smith are 4 coaches that I would bet don't do it.

You can try to make yourself feel better and say all the other teams do it, but it just isn't true. (Whether or not I elaborate will result in a virulent and cataclysmic flame beginning with "STFU Pats hater ur just jealous!" so I'll save the time and bandwidth and stop here).
