What another great performance by Arsenal and a hat-trick for Adebayor. Fabregas again with a superb performance, capped off with yet another long range goal. 5-0 with a team with an average age of 23 and a handful of first team players not present.

I'm so excited about this Arsenal team, they keep this up and they have a very good shot at the Premiership. Not to mention with so many young players, the only way to go from here is up.

The big test will be 10/25 and 10/28. Liverpool away followed by United at the Emirates. Currently rooting for Fullham to beat/draw Man City (pretty much root for anyone who will make our lead larger). Also why I'm hoping for a draw tomorrow.

But it was Derby. Some call them the WORST TEAM EVER to be in the Premiership. That's a bit harsh to me, but they are far from spectacular. They should remain untested until those 2 games though. If they somehow win both games then they can really focus on putting some distance between them.

Also, are Man City wearing fucking purple kits?

Haha, they look navy/dark blue to me.

And yeah, it was Derby, but it was still 5 goals and no one really played badly (Senderos seemed a little shaky at times). I think midfield and forward we're solid. Any problems we have this season I think its gonna be in defense.

WOW! Right after I critique Adebayor he comes up and gives this hattrick performance hehe. Either way I love it! What I'm really shocked/amazed at is Fabregas and this scoring act he's on! I know it's early and I really don't wanna jinx us so I shall refrain from commenting on this Arsenal team until it's like January lol

Go back and see how I said Fabregas is one of the top 5 most valuable players in the world (and also look how many people called me idiots). I know it's early, but I'll allow you all to retract your statements. This will be the only time I jab you for it

Ade was said to be excited when Henry left because he knew he'd be playing every game. He's definitely evolving into a dangerous striker in many ways. His dribbling has improved tenfold and he's much more patient then he was last year. Playing all the time I think has vastly improved his comfort zone.

I thought Eduardo was a bit disappointing, but he has 2 goals in fairly minimal play time so I will not bash him. We also got a near perfect results from the lower tier teams in expanding our lead. Fulham drew City and Birmingham drew Liverpool at Anfield (I'm coming very close to retracting my statement about them winning the league as they didn't look good at all today). Whoever loses out of Chelsea/United tomorrow will have a huge mountain to climb early if Arsenal don't drop form. We've got a slew of extremely winnable games until our week of death (@ Anfield, Home to United).

It will also be great to see how the younger guys (even younger than our starting 11) do in Carling Cup Tuesday against Newcastle. I've yet to see the roster, but Wenger already said he's playing the reserves).

One more quick thing, how amazing is it that only 6 years ago Leeds were in the top 4 and in the CL and now they're almost bottom of the table of League One (it came to me while watching a classic game between them and Spurs). It's really sad to see such a historic team struggling to mightily.

I think United roll Chelsea tomorrow. I don't see Grant making it out of October alive. The Russian will be pissed off and upset and wishing he hadn't pushed Mourinho out the door. Fucking serves him right.

Oh trust me, when it comes to Fabregas he's currently my favourite player in the world. Whenever I play pickup games I always call that midfield role where you have that full range of passing: short balls, long balls, through balls, crosses everything. Any pass in the game Fabregas has it in his repertoire AND he plays with heart. I love to see him with his 5'9 self tousling with those bigger, more physical, defensive midfielders and not backing down. That one game versus blackburn when Robbie Savage tried him, I enjoyed every second of that, the kid is pure heart. It's his scoring I'm commenting on really and he's only 20. I hope he never heads back to Spain. Wenger is such a genius!

He's said as long as Wenger is there, he'll stay. He says he wants the captains armband. Personally, I love it on Toure right now. He's easily our best defender, but he's so versatile. I say the season after next is when Fabregas gets the armband. He'll be young (still 22), but he'll have plenty of years of experience and by then he should easily be the best player in the premiership.

If you're using Vista it could be an issue. It also only works in IE. Those are the two issues I always had with it.

That red card was a very harsh but I cannot say I'm upset with it.

Yeah, thanks again. Got it working now. Seems that it was just difficult to connect for a while.

It was definitely a Yellow, but Dean is known to be an enforcer of sorts. It really had no effect on the game at all though. I honestly believe that without Drogba (with Shevchenko upfront) that Chelsea are completely harmless. I'm not sure how long Drogba is out, but if he isn't back soon, their top 4 status could be very much in jeopardy.

Well Joe Cole's Yellow on the 73rd minute should of been a Red (clumsy attack from behind), but the difference between 20 minutes and 60 minutes with 10 players is still huge. Despite that, I don't think Manchester United's victory was ever really in doubt from after the first few minutes. Chelsea was completely uninspired and never showed any threatening behavior prior to Mikel's Red.
