| Wow you really do make Akileese look like Michel Platini or some shit. You said Torres wasn't "integral" to Liverpool then compared him with various playmakers like Ronaldhino and Kaka etc I said of course not his job is to score goals, its Gerrards job to be the playmaker. I then pointed out how Gerrard is playing as an attacking midfielder/second striker in Liverpools current formation, which you respond to by bringing up his defensive ability = wtf You're not talking about Liverpool, but you are talking about Torres and Gerrard, last time I checked they both wore red shirts... Let me draw you a diagram Torres Babel Gerrard Kuyt Alonso Mascherano That's how Liverpool line up: two defensive midfielders, 3 attacking midfielders and 1 centre forward. This formation has always been Benitez's preferred system since his Valencia days, he just hasn't had the personnel to implement effectively at Liverpool until now. Yes Gerrard is a phenomenal player, probably the best all around player in the world (can play CM, DM, AM, LM, RM, SS, RB and excel in every position) but in Liverpools current formation he has very little defensive responsibility and his job is to set up Torres and score goals. Considering he's already got 20 goals in all comps and probably a similar number of assists (cant find the exact stat) I'd say its working pretty well. Mind you, before you get a erection from this statement, I'm not saying he's currently a balanced midfielder, but due to his history I wouldn't be so fast to say he's a Kaká / Ronaldinho type of player just yet. Quote:
Should I reply with "Do you even watch Milan or Real Madrid play?" just because you mention Nistelrooy and Kaká? Quote:

+1 Internets | What the fuck Bayern Munchen? Them lucky bastards. They never deserved to qualify. After having spent so much on transfers, you'd think you could actually watch some quality football. I really feel bad for Getafe; they did deserve everything in last night's game. Congrats to Michael Laudrup for making the team even better after Schuster left. I hope they can beat Valencia next week to win the King's Cup. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | ADEBAYOR!!!!!!! UGH...so close to being a 2nd goal and 3 points in the right direction. I totally forgot that Man U still plays Chelsea, with 5 to play, us winning the league isn't totally out of reach. God dammit.I mean god dammit. What is it with these HORRIBLE penalties. He lifts his arm, tries to move it away, it nips his fingers, penalty. Terrible call.

Gallas however, I mean, when a ball is lined to you, and you make an effort, what do you want the man to do? He arched his arm in a specific way that the ball could go directly through it without hitting it. I won't deny it his fingers, but what more do you want the guy to do aside from dropping to ground and leaving a man unmarked? I always felt penalties should never be given on handballs unless a player blatantly uses it to make contact. Awesome. Carrick tugs him, Hleb puts an arm on him, Carrick crashes, free kick. This game is starting to get out of hand with the one-sided calls. Good for you Ade. Good for you taking that cocksucker the fuck down. Webb can suck my fucking dick. Anderson fucking grabbed him and took him down with him and then there was no call of course.
