| yeah just saw that today, sad because the last time i had checked in on the game it was level 1-1 other than that it appears Man City is gonna be spending more money when the transfers open up again any ideas on who'll they'll target or what area? |

| He was sacked before the game so the result had of last night game made no effect on the decision at all. I don't often agree with sackings but that was the right thing to do. Since he took over only Chelsea have spent more money in the premier league then what Jol has at spurs. He has the money so he thinks he has to keep spending it rather then building on what he already has he just buys in pretty much a whole new team every season. You need to build a team and stick with it and add maybe 3 players top each year then you will see progress not buy 8 players every year and expect them to gel that is why spurs always get off to a bad start because of what Jol does in the transfer window and it has finally caught up with him. I hope he stays in england though he is a good character for the game and he tells it as it is he don't beat around the bush. |

Seriously. Just because there's a north london rivalry, doesn't mean you have to adopt it. Coming from someone who was born in Camden. p.s. Martin Jol was dire this season.

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | ESPNsoccernet - England - Spurs poised as Ramos quits Sevilla Juande Ramos is indeed going to Spurs. This should be....fun. Also, I am predicting Chelsea's home unbeaten streak falls to Man City tomorrow. It's a gut instinct. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | As a Blues fan, your hope should be to survive this season and get in the top 4 to qualify for Europe (could be tough if Pompey, Blackburn, and Man City continue to play well, but I still think they get through) and worry about CL. If you're Liverpool, you need to focus on the league because that group is way too good to be in a position to lose your easiest game AT HOME (Marseille). I see Porto and Fenerbahce(sp?) going through in that group. I also think Arsenal will go a perfect 18 points in that group. I can say what I want, but that group is fucking abysmal. Something needs to be done when there are two group of deaths (Barce, Rangers, Lyon group and the Liverpool group) and Arsenal gets one of the most cupcake groups I've seen in the past 5 years. I think even though Spurs are my team's arch-rival, I hate Liverpool much more. I despise Rafa Benitez and think he's a fucking idiot (something plenty of Liverpool fans and I have in common) and I don't know. I actually adore Jermaine Jenas and Aaron Lennon and aside from Torres (it's more of an appreciation than anything else) I really can't think of a single guy on Liverpool I really like so to speak. So, as long as Drogba stays healthy, Chelsea should be able to qualify in the top 4. If somehow Drogba goes down injured, you guys are in a world of trouble because you really don't score goals when he's hurt. |

I don't think Rafa is an idiot (he has brought some great results since he's been in charge), but i do, definately, do not like his constant rotation policy, he needs to have a few constant players playing all the time. What's wrong with Gerrard in your eyes? - i still think he's one of the best midfielders around, and also appears to be a pretty down-to-earth type of player - and has shown to be sometimes the only player on the team which can completely change the game. Benayoun is also a player whom i starting to respect more and more. Crouch and Kewell need to be dropped. Liverpools issue has always been their consistanty. The start of this season, they were on fire, and now they are playing like shite. Same old story. And i'm expecting a 0-2 result (in Arsenals favour) tomorrow for tomorrows showdown - at least, we can't compete with the style of play (fast, short, accurate passing) Arsenal deals out.

Now lets hope Liverpool play a good game and give Arsenal a deserving fight tommorow. By next saturday we could see MU fixed at the top of the table, but it's just likely that Arsenal are going to win comfortably vs Liverpool tommorow setting up whats likely the most anticipated fixture of the season thus far, for MU vs Arsenal next saturday.

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | My fault, I somehow managed to confuse Gerrard and Lampard (long night). I love Gerrard. He's such a phenomenal player and he's one of the best free kick takers in the game. I think Arsenal win tomorrow and I'm happy we're playing Liverpool. It's such a huge game that it's a guarantee they won't overlook the game looking at the Man U. game. That game will the immovable object vs the unstoppable force. |
