Randy Moss -Sore Hammy

OH NO!!!

"the wide receiver apparently injured his left leg during a passing drill."

Hopefully it is nothing. Pats 19-0 season is on the line here.

They were just discussing this on AtH. It's not a big deal and is really common for vets who just want to play hooky.

Yeah was about to say I saw this on ATH too.

Can't believe there's a thread on it here, can't believe it was on ATH. It's not even pre season, it's only 'sore' and it's not newsworthy

Just gonna derail this thread I guess. This is why I started to hate the Patriots. I guess it's a grudge and I have no reason anymore, but this infamous call pissed the fuck out of me.

At exactly 4:00 minutes in; watch him tuck that ball. That bastard was nowhere NEAR throwing it. He pumped and put the ball into his left hand. Goddam I hated that call.

Yeah around the time I started hating them. I used to hate Brady too but after he had a great year with basically Joe Everyman playing WR last year I started to respect him a lot more and I can't deny him any longer. I even drafted him in my first Fantasy league

I was at that game and as a pats fan, as much as I HATED the call because I dislike all technicalities, it's the rule. It's in the rule book. The irony of said call was Raider fans bitching about blown calls and bullshit plays when they're easily the dirtiest franchise in the history of pro football (no where near as dirty as those Pistons teams though).

I just read a LB was hospitalized with some time of spinal cord injury during a collision in practice. I say we're 10 years away from pro football being banned in the U.S. due to injuries in the sport. Either that, or the gov't REALLY needs to fix the steroid issue. The guys are too jacked up on roids. Rugby and the Hockey have virtually no injury problem by comparison. The only thing worse is pro wrestling. Something needs to be done.

If NASCAR can keep going after Dale was killed football will be fine.

EXACTLY! He tucked the ball and he fumbled. He wasn't "Going in a forward passing motion." GG.

WOOT!!! great to see and hear Gil Santos. I miss listening to him on Patriots Rock Radio 104.1 WBCN. For that Super Bowl we muted Madden and listened to Santos on the radio while watching the game on TV, best super bowl ever, Santos should announce every Pats game on TV. (Note: that was the SB Madden said the Pats should run out the clock and the Pats drove down the field and won the game, what a dumbass...run out the clock, come on)

Thanks for that youtube post. I LOVED that game. What a great game. Nothing better than sticking it to the Raiders. America's real team the Patriots were amazing. What a great kick by Vini too, I miss him.

The call was the correct call btw.

And Tom Brady is the most underrated QB in NFL history. 3 superbowl rings and he is super clutch.

PS: One last thing, that game reminded me of last year's best game of the year, the Pats vs the Chargers. The Chargers totally owned that game, especially in the first half and in the 2nd half the Pats totally outplayed them and pulled it out. Had the Pats lost the Chargers would have been super bowl champs last year. That game was amazing.

I hate you.

Nice ninja edit

He's good, but I have a grudge nowadays. In all 100% honesty, you canNOT look at that clip and tell me that he didn't put the football back into his left hand. I just can't be convinced otherwise.

Randy Moss could have had his leg severed in practice, and the Patriots would still kick ass this year.

Their team is fricking stacked on both sides of the ball; Moss is just icing on the cake.

Years before the Raiders and Pats had just about the same type of call in a close game and it went the Raiders way. So things just evened out. You can't get all the calls, unless you are the Yankees.
