| Yes, and I'm sure he's earned himself a couple more weeks worth of 0 for 4 with 3 strikeout nights because of that one (admittedly nice) home run. A lot of the joy is taken out of moments like that when you know it's going to be used as justification for bad playing time decisions going forward. |

+20 Internets | It's weird that after talking about how lots of us don't think Orel's record would ever be broken in this thread, Brandon Webb is suddenly one more CG SO from doing it. Not that I think he'll do it, but fuck I thought that record was close to untouchable.

+1 Internets | If Webb lets a guy on base and gets pulled later in the same inning, with that guy still on base, does his streak end if the guy on base scores? That would be an earned run for Webb right? |

| If it ends up an earned run, then yes it would get credited to him. Not really sure how exactly it affects the streak though, especially if its a couple outs after he was taken out of the game. |
