Bruised lung and bruised liver. He was knocked unconscious for about 2 minutes, then he got up and walked off with the medical personnel kind of pointing him in the right direction. I don't think he had totally come to yet until he was in the tunnel getting checked out.

wow thanks for the info. That is crazy. Good to hear that he is alive but bruised lung and liver sound pretty serious. If he tries that same stunt again on the big air vert ramp next year he is my hero.

I just can't compare a dude holding the throttle open and leaning back real hard to landing a 900. But meh.

Was watching some of the step up moto-X thing tonight. Who ended up winning? Dude riding the 4-stroke seemed to be skying over the bar at every height up to 31' til I found something interesting to watch.

Vert skate and Vert big air my two favorites to watch. The rest of the stuff I tend to skip until I can just see the highlights. I agree with Grimmlokk nothing compares to a 900 or that 720 on the big air. Skateboarding is so much harder and also so much more fun to watch, but I don't enjoy the street skating as much for some reason. Grinding rails and doing kick flips for me doesn't compare to a 900, a backside kickflip 360 tail grab to fakey, a frontside 540 nosegrab tail tap, the 1080, and so on. I even heard that Sean White has landed a 1080 and plans to duplicate it at this years best trick but I'll believe it when it. Skateboarding has come a long way since T Hawk hit the 900, now a 900 won't even get you bronze at the x games. Tony is still my all time fav skater tho.

Think a 1080 will land this year? I say no.

Some guy did back to back 900's in BMX vert and took silver. As for White busting out the 1080, I'll believe it when I see it. Guys still barely land the 900 as it is. I could see someone landing a 1080 on big air with enough speed, but with that kind of speed, odds are they'd end up like Jake Brown.

Jake Brown just walked out of the hospitol today and went to the Xgames and spoke to the crowd. He looked fine and just walked out with a little cane. He was laughing about it too and said he couldn't wait to do big air again next year.

I missed ALL of this, yet again, except for the tail end of Step Up. My long-term memory about dates fucking blows.

Does anyone know where I can find this, besides digging around singular youtube clips? All I can find are torrents of a few Moto X events.
