| I think the funniest part is that Michigan paid that school nearly half a million dollars for them to come play. Money well spent imo.

Yeah, as most folks know the purpose of these games is to get a few wins under your belt and fine tune for the season. Unfortunately this is like hiring someone to paint your house, only to come home and find he burned it down, the insurance doesn't cover it, he's suing you and fucked your wife. With the BCS bullshit they'll likely end up playing in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. GG Michigan. | |

+6 Internets | This is so damn amazing, every time I start to get a grasp on how hugely awesome this was I lose it a little. I can't wait until the game is actually televised. Even the ending is incredible. Has there been any explanation for App State kicking their field goal on 1st down with 30 seconds to go though? Did they do it just so they could block Michigan's final field goal for an even more incredible finish? |

| They were out of timeouts. The coach gave a few reasonings in an interview after the game.

| We bawlin boi! | The poll on espn.com has this game voted by fans so far, as the greatest upset in the history of college football, though the vote for greatest and top 5 greatest are close.

That isn't a reason not to run down the clock and then spike the ball.

| They probably should have run to the right once to set it up in the middle of the field, then rushed the field goal unit out there. But whatever, there's enough pressure on that kicker already, makes sense to get him out there with a stopped clock and just assume that 30 seconds isn't enough time. |
