| Romo is a manwhore | What's probably going to happen is the NFL and Atlanta are going to sit in a room with the Federal Prosecuters where the FPs are going to say, "This is how we're going to nail his dick to the table." After the case is laid out, their own lawyers will give a thumbs up or a thumbs down to Vick's fate in the NFL as a whole and then we'll see how it goes from there. My prediction: Cut from the Falcons and suspended from the NFL until the completion of the trial. If guilty, lifetime ban. If not-guilty, time served and compensation of some sort. |

| What was more disgusting was sitting at a local diner and CNN kept playing the videos of dog fights over and over, with so many TVs in the place it was hard to not watch. I lost my appetite and we all left. |

| I guess I will chime in here...this will be unpopular what I type but hey. 1st off let me say this...I have been to dozens of pit bull fights. Hell my barber breeds and fights them still. I used to own a few dogs, but never fought them. I just didn't have the heart to see MY dog die. Win or lose. I know that sounds silly after going to the fights...But hey. The way his kennel killed losing dogs is totally acceptable in the "sport". Shooting, drowning, electrocuting are done nightly at the fights I saw. Usually in the "back room" by the owner or whoever is hosting. After you see a few dogs killed this way, you get used to it no problem. His kennel is also accused of slamming dogs till they die...That is not a method I have never seen. I kinda even cringed on that one. Most dogs are NOT killed. If the dog loses in a great show. Isn't severely wounded, has a huge head...whatever. Or even if the owner wants his dog back. The dog can leave no problem. It's your dog. Though I have seen few owners take home a severely wounded dog. If he had that many dogs buried on his property. WOW. The dog will absolutely be killed if it cowers in the presence of another dog. It will just refuse to fight any longer. Tuck tail and corner/ball up. I have never seen anyone take a dog home if it does that. When I was like 21ish I went to the fights almost monthly. Myself like most people that go to these things, outgrow the sport. Children and a career will just about change your perspective on about anything I suppose. People that stay in it are those who can not outgrow that hood mentality. Or those who are making a killing breeding I suppose. (This is MY perspective...) What blows my mind, is this idiot is a millionaire and is still doing this shit. Fucks sake...I got a job paying some bullshit 50k a year and separated myself from my "boys", as fast as I could. If you pay me 100 million? I wouldn't speak to my mother! Never mind still hanging with my friends. You doing something illegal?? Here's 10 grand. Stay the fuck away from me. What's going to be interesting is how the lawyer plays race into this. Not that I personally believe that race has shit to do with anything here...But you KNOW it will come up. I also want to see how the jury pans out. To give you an idea. Went to get a haircut last night. The talk wasn't about how fucked up the dog fighting is. But how dumb he is for getting caught! Sitting there and listening to the younger guys perspective just blew my mind. I want to also see how fast his boys at the kennel turn on his ass and start making deals. Also, some of you lawyers out there may be able to answer this. I am sure Vick is majorly in the know. He himself can probably expose this sport, and big players to a crippling degree. Would the Feds/State make a deal with him, for that info? Or would they much rather go after a big dog (pun intended) like Vick? |

+14 Internets | You must live in the most boring bumblefuck part of the South to think it's ok for young guys to go watch dog fights. On a side tangent, it's fucking assholes like these dogfighters that end up giving breeds like Pitbulls, Rots, etc bad names....they breed for super aggressiveness and owners treat them like fucking shit because they want a "mean dog", then some 3 year old gets mauled and everyone blames the breed. No joke, one of the most friendly dogs I ever knew was a male Rotweiller named Thor. What was even more funny about it was his best dog friend, so to speak, was a chihuahua. It was kinda like that old cartoon with the big dog and the little dog "Hey spike? Watcha want to do? huh huh???".

Teams care about winning. Look at Randy Moss. Sure he has some personal issues but he is a great football Player. That is all that matters. As long as he does not kill anybody I would surely want him on my team, The Redskins. Actually if it allows the Redskins win a Superbowl I will take a whole team of Murdering Sons of Bitches. | BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Randy Moss has never had any SERIOUS problems. He's had small stupid shit. Traffic violations, pot smoking. Has be done worse? I'm sure. But he's never been caught. What Vick did is downright despicable. You can say what you want about "problem" guys, hell, even loop Pacman Jones in there. He does retarded shit like going to strip clubs and while I'm sure he brings a lot of it on himself, I'm willing to bet a few times it was a wrong place at the wrong time kinda deal. As for Vick putting asses in the seats, the NFL puts asses in the seats no matter what. Merchandising I could see since he sells a ton of jerseys, but the Falcons or any team for that matter won't have much trouble selling tickets. Also, think of the media backlash if HE IS convicted and doesn't get jail time? Would you still sign him? I mean, the guy was convicted of animal cruelty and you're endorsing it by signing him. You need to look at it from a business perspective and really think it through. No one would take that risk. Well, maybe Al Davis. |

| Roger Goodell does not fuck around with player conduct, like Tagliabue did. One of Goodell's major mandates from the owners is to clean up the league's image. Vick's football career will be over soon enough, and it will be entirely his own fault. Also, I agree with Kiroy. |

And you are right, it is about money and if they brought VIck back do you know how much they stand to lose from sponsers? No one wants to be known as the sponser of a dog murderer.

| And this is the golden statement. The deciding factor is the sponsors, and they will get him shit canned so fast after they get a few letters from animal rights groups talking boycott. I'd guess it's just not worth the hassle to try to fix Vick's image. I could just imagine peta freaks dressed as pitbulls outside every game...
