I guess you have a point somewhat, but Crosby is very much in the "now" as well as the "next." Fastest player to 200 points in history, won numerous awards already, lead his team from the bottom of the league one year to middle of the pack the next (47 point swing), so on and so forth. He's arguably the best player in the NHL right now, not tomorrow or down the road.

Which makes him about as popular as the 6th man on the Memphis Grizzlies team.

Obviously he wasn't going against the Grizzlies' 6th man then!

Oh, damn he was going against Jeter. I don't like hockey at all and I probably would have voted against Jeter anyway.

ESPN is going the way of MTV. Cut out out the sports and leave pop TV.

It's sad but if I watch ESPN from 3-5 they will discuss the same topics with different analyst on 4 different shows. And sometimes I watch all 4 Lately though I avoid them all until 4pm and try to just watch ATH/PTI, but I even skip ATH sometimes so PTI seems somewhat fresh. and jesus pls bring tony back

Well, if you count the morning programs it's about 10 hours of the same shit starting with Mike and Mike up until Sportscenter in the evening.

Mike and Mike, 1st Take, then you get the best of Mike and Mike and 1st and 10. Then Rome, PTI, ATH etc.

And they all discuss the same stories over and over.

Talking about daytime ESPN programming, not evening. And what boxing? Shit from 1987?

Hahaha, yeah, if you want boxing you need HBO and occasionally PPV.

Who did the panelists vote for, Phelps or Shaq? Seriously, if they're going to give 30% of the votes to the panelists they need to not be fucking retards.

Oh, and if this is about Who's Now, why is Tiger Woods up there? The guy is floundering. So he had a kid, big whoop, I have seven kids and all them suck. His wife is a supermodel, big fucking deal, my ex-wife posed for hustler once.

For the second round, the panelists are down to a 10% combined vote, with fans getting 90% now.

I have HBO, but WNF and FNF on ESPN during the summer sports deprived months is always nice. August can't come quick enough...

Lebatard is great.

Manning vs Dale JR. Manning should win, but if the rednecks vote, it's all over.

When I seen who was with Scott to discuss the whos now I figured, hmm maybe this chick actually likes sports and knows about them....I wanted to shoot her in the head after she said its better to be low key and shit (and then repeating everything she just said) and the fat dude was just as brain dead as her and seemed like he just wanted to talk about the movie it seems.
