+6 Internets | I wish the damn Padres would lose for a change so the Phillies could make up some ground in the Wild Card race. |

+6 Internets | We lost in the 10th last night so we are back to being 2.5 game out from both the Mets and the Padres. I would love to win the division though. Best case scenario would be winning the division and the Mets winning the wild card. What I wouldn't give to be able to play the Mets in the first round.

| It seems like the Red Sox lost the fire a month or so ago and were expecting to coast their way into the post-season. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Yankees have been going at it tooth-and-nail after a horrid start, clambering their way back up the ladder. Someone, somewhere must have said something that kicked them in the ass and got them playing tough. The younger Sox players are still driving hard at the post-season (as has been shown by Pedroia, Ellsbury, and Beckett, to name a few) but the veterans seem almost lethargic when it comes to ensuring a series in October. Just watching some of them (such as Lugo losing the game the other night with lazy running) makes me wonder if we'll ever see another World Series win before 2090. The Boston bullpen was one of the most astounding bullpens I've ever seen. Domination was assured whenever any of the starters stepped onto the mound. Looking at the records and ERAs before the All Star break was almost awe-inspiring. Unfortunately, when we get this late in the season it doesn't matter what the numbers say if the team is without motivation. Anyone have some steel-toed size twelves they could loan Francona? +6 Internets | The Padres can't fucking lose. At least the Mets fell apart again last night. God I hope the Phillies don't miss the playoffs by one game AGAIN this year.

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Francona has all but publicly declared he doesn't care about the division. The Sox boards are going rampant with people who want his blood because of this. He's focusing on setting up for the playoffs when they're not guaranteed. I'd have no problem with him doing this if you were 2.5 games out of the division, but when you're up, you better fucking win it. Also, tell Manny to get his vag out of a twist and get the fuck in there. |

| Injuries are catching up with the Sox. I could give two shits about the division, all that matters are rings. Ask the Yanks how many division champs they'd cough up the past 10 years for WS wins. |

| Manny, Manny, Manny | So my team is 6.5 out. The Dodgers are done. Grady Little sucks fucking ass. I know why Boston got rid of this worthless piece of shit as a manager. He takes pictures out when t hey are doing well. Leaves pitchers in when they are struggling. Fuck that piece of shit. Time to fire him and hire Orel or Gibson. Another gem is that on The Official Site of The Los Angeles Dodgers: Homepage they have for a headline that they are stilll in the wild card race. Yeah fucking right. I am pissed off. haha |
