Mayweather JR possibly fighting Ricky Hatton

As a Boxer, FMJ is probably one of the all time great defensive fighters, but I think if you piss him off like this, he might literally try to destroy Hatton and knock him out.

Yeah I'd look awesome in the ring against an 80 year old who's been in some of the wars Castillo has too. Steward was basically calling the fight for Hatton 30 seconds in. He could see Castillo was just too slow to match up.

Floyd *should* dominate Hatton. I'd prefer if he didn't, but my heart and my head are calling it differently and usually my head is right.

Hatton is a great fighter, pr4oblem is Meyweather is a great boxer. So, Hatton is going to be in the same boat as Oscar. He's going to do nothing but run around and chase Floyd around the ring. Floyd is almost like Pernell Whitacker but with a little bit more power. Hatton is going to say the same thing Oscar did. If it wasnt for me there would be no fight, i at least tried.

Oscar isn't a GREAT fighter. He's a good fighter who has never won a big fight in his life.

Hatton may be fast, but not only is Floyd pound for pound the best right now, but he also has the fastest hands in boxing. Hatton is not nearly as fast as FLoyd.

Fraud Mayweather. I dont know if I like this match up. Personally i would have prefered Fraud square of with Miguel Cotto, so he would come out of the fight disfigured.


Ricky Hatton has had 1 good fight since he beat Kostya Tzyou in a very very UGLY and Controversial fight. That 1 good fight came against Castillo, who in my eyes looked shot.


I personaly would prefer Fraud fight either Mosely or Cotto. However Hattons pressure hug style will give Fraud alot of fits.


This fight will in the end be determined by what Referee is in the ring. If the Ref allows the grabing and punching I like Hattons chances, however the ref breaks up the hugging before Hatton can do anything it will be Fraud in a Potshoting Running Display.

It's going to be a good fight, despite what the analysts think. I think Hatton has more heart, the eye of the tiger if you will, then Oscar did.

All Oscar is right now is Dollar Bills. By all accounts yes, Hatton is stronger than PBF, however Fraud can run circles around Hatton, and his hand speed is second to maybe only Zab Judah.

However like someone else mentioned, Fraud is just boring as hell, he goes into that defensive stance, and its potshot all night. Sure he goes defensive since he is out of his comfy weight, and if he were to catch a bomb from say the likes of Miguel Cotto he would be in trouble, but for someone that proclaims to be an all time Great Fighter he sure as hell doesnt display that in the ring. A comparision could be made with Sugar Ray Leonard, given their speed and their ability. But it stops there, because Leonard was able to entertain while all Fraud does is Talk.

I think Oscar did pretty damn well. I think he's great. Thats for another thread though.

Hatton is also Smaller then Oscar i beleive, he's fighitng what in the 140 range? ITs going to be more of the same. Floyd will do the exact same thing. he's just to damn fast for people to catch. Run run, throw 2 -3 punches, then run run. Will be another zzzzz fight.

I call em like I see them. This is the same guy who said he would actually knock out Oscar de la Hoya, and never engaged him during the bout. The same guy that wont fight Shane Mosely because and I quote "I dont fight sparring partners". Yet he fought Jose Luis Castillo twice. The same guy who after winning against Oscar, said he was retired and started begging for a rematch with Oscar just for the dollar bills. Im sorry he is not an All time great, he is a Fraud.
