Mosley would get obliterated by Floyd. If Vernon Forrest can beat him, Mayweather would knock him out.

Styles make fights. Mayweather is by no means a power puncher at 147. Vernon was a tall, lengthy southpaw with power. Mayweather is a short, right handed slick boxer, with hardly any power at 147.

Worthless fight.

In the US Mayweather runs and hides behind his shoulder for 12 rounds only stopping to love tap the Hatton gloves for power shots on the punch stats. The ref will keep roughly the distance of the Atlantic between the two and if Hatton catches Mayweather long enough to hit him Mayweather will come up smiling, fooling the world and the judges that what happened didn’t actually happen. Hatton body shots will be useless, as they don’t get scored on Mayweather anyway and he’ll be warned for anything below the pecs. And if the unthinkable does happen and Hatton drops him, a Mayweather relative will be on hand to assure a 10min cooldown period. It’ll go to scorecards, and the chances of a shit talking foreign lout winning a decision over the first-born son of the US boxing world is non-existent. Stupid fight for Hatton, boring fight for the fans, but it’s all about the dollars, and I guess it would be a fittingly ironic loss.

Mayweather in the UK would be comically entertaining at least, but you only get 1 big name freebie before the world knows your game and Hatton used it on Tszyu.

Mayweather having the fastest handspeed is just crap recycled from the pre Oscar fight hype that the dumb asses have bought into, the same hype that had Mayweather never having fought anyone as strong as Oscar. And more chance of Hatton slipping in the ring and knocking himself out than Mayweather having anything to do with it, fuck there’s more chance of his father doing it than Floyd.

Cotto is the only real fight out there atm, unless hell freezes over and this fight happens on neutral ground.
