Palacio to Arsenal is set on the club side according to a few sources in Argentina and UK. The only block now is his contract and how much he'd make. The guy is a HUGE talent and while I'm personally against signing more strikers, with the impending Ljunberg move to Fioretina, this could allow them to play Wolcott on the wing rather than at striker (which means you'd have a primary of Van Persie, Adebayor, Palacio, Da Silva). I don't know how you're going to find minutes for 4 strikers of that quality, but I'm sure Wenger will figure something out. I guess his approach is to try and replace Henry in a platoon sense. I guess I could go along with that logic.
