| That's his way of saying "I tried my best guys. I wanted to give Kevin his freedom but I was not going to give him away." This way he's not the bad guy in any way. Pussy.

| Word is now that the Lakers are just trying to make a straight trade with the Wolves with Bynum / Odom going to Minnesota. Sounds like a better deal for Minnesota than the 4-way stuff that was being proposed. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Apparently, Bucher said Garnett's salary rises to like, 30 million or some ridiculous shit. There's no way that would work. Radmonovic or someone would have to be invovled for the salaries to work. The reason they needed four teams were the salaries. |

+1 Internets | So apprently Kobe screwed it all up by saying getting Garnett wasn't enough and he still wanted traded. There is now an evolving trade between the Suns, Celtics, and Timberwolves.

+19 Internets | Yeah I don't know why the Twolves want a draft pick over Marion/Amare. Those guys are for sure 20/10 guys. I can understand wanting to rebuild for the future but Amare is really young and Marion is still in his late 20s. The draft is such a risky place to put your stock. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | New rumor is the Celts sending the #5 to Seattle for Ray Allen (Theo Ratliff may be involved). The "experts" immediately kill it because the Celtics are "picking number 5". Ok, well, who's gonna be there at #5? A big fucking chinaman who refused to work out against anything but a chair? Unless Horford or Conley drop to 5, I trade it. As for Stephen A Smith, I fucking hate him. Saying that KG brought everything upon himself by signing an extension. Really? I mean, god forbid a player stay loyal. He's given the Wolves plenty of chances to build a good team around him and the only time they did was when they had Cassell and Spreewell in a fucking contract year. |

+19 Internets | mm lots of years left on Allen's deal and can't really do it for Lewis since he plays Pierces position. if the Bobcats can get in on the Amare talks with the #8 pick then surely somebody at Boston needs to pick up the fucking phone and offer them Telfair+Theo+#5 (and a protected top 5 in 2010 or something) to the Wolves who send KG to the suns and Amare to Boston |

| Well, may as well discuss draft crap here, but they are reporting that Oden officially is the first pick.

+3 Internets | Atlanta is apparently interested in trading their #11 for Luke Ridnour (lol). If this goes through I will be giddy. Dunno how I feel about possibly trading Ray Allen...he's a great player and he's not a douchebag, so he will be missed if he leaves. But if we do get #5 and #11, we could end up with Durant, Conley Jr. or Acie Law IV (or maybe Noah if he's still there), and Rodney Stuckey in one draft. We also have two picks at the top of the second round, which is great because there's no guaranteed money in those contracts, so if they end up being flops it won't cost the team. If this all goes through our starting lineup would look like this: PG Conley Jr./Acie Law IV SG Stuckey SF Durant PF Chris Wilcox/Nick Collison C Noah/someone else we possibly draft Very young but would definitely be very talented, and we'd score 110+ every night easily. |

| Bah. I just don't see that as a good thing for Seattle basketball. If they go all young talent and it develops well they'll be a good team, but I don't think they'll be in Seattle. Edit: That was in reference to trading Allen, Ridnour for #11 is a fucking miracle. Edit: Oh shit again, Szczerbiak in the deal too with #5? Hmmmm. +3 Internets | It seems if they got #5 they'd take Jeff Green or Brandan Wright, I would hope it would be Green. The Muckleshoot Tribe is apparently exploring the feasibility of building an arena next to Emerald Downs, maybe it could keep the team here. |
