I have a hard time seeing Bell being traded from the Suns. Nash is a big fan of the guy, and he seems to bring the locker room together.

I was listening to the radio today and they said KG would cost the Suns ~34 million when all is said and done for the first year.

Because in the NBA when you trade players, you have to trade equal contract prices also. KG is signed at $21M. If you don't trade Amare+Marion, then you HAVE to include Diaw and Bell to make the money work right. Otherwise, you're trading even more players in one of their places.

ESPN has a great Trade Machine to look up just this kind of stuff.

Any trade involving SA must include at least one of Ginoblli, Parker, and Duncan just to make the money work out right. Never gonna happen. You guys can clean up your keyboards now.

Robert Horry for KG straight up. KG has 0 rings. Horry has like 7 rings.

Not unless KG restructures his contract so he loses about 30 million and the T Wolves get really high

Now the rumor of the day is the Lakers acquiring KG in a four team trade that would send picks + young guys to Minnesota, and Bynum/Odom to Indiana.

yeah that's the first trade that makes sense to me for all the teams. I don't know how Bynum can stay in LA if Kobe does after that video came out. Celtics get O'Neal without having to drop Jefferson, Minnesota loads up on draft picks, etc - if a deal had to be done I liked this one more than the others. Giving up gerald green and the #5 pick (in what imo is a horrible spot in the draft since the drop after durant is huge and the differene between pick 4 and 15 seem small). It looks like the Celtics are giving up a lot for O'Neal but Ratliff is an expiring contract and Telfair is garbage.

The Wolves send Kevin Garnett and Marko Jaric to the Lakers.

The Lakers send Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum to the Pacers and the No. 19 pick to the Wolves.

The Pacers send Jermaine O'Neal to the Celtics.

The Celtics send the No. 5 pick, Theo Ratliff, Gerald Green and Sebastian Telfair to Minnesota.

WAIT! WE GET TO DUMP BASSY AND RATLIFF!?

This trade has to happen, even if it means taking on Jermaine O'Neals contract. We can move him later if it's necessary.

Kobe+KG would be fucking bomb. I could see Kobe deciding to stay if they really make an effort to get Garnett, but I'd still like to see him get traded...I just think it'd be funny.

Why would the wolves be wary of this? They're getting TWO fucking picks in a loaded draft and some expiring contracts that they can trade for veterans/picks for next year. Look, if you're Kevin McHale (and thank god I'm not because 90% of my informed fan base would want me dead), you have to make this deal and start rebuilding. This is the most loaded draft in a long time and while I don't like the Celtics losing a lottery pick, it's better than them taking some chinese bust.

I've yet to see him post up against anything more than a 5'8 stand in. Yeah, that's a GREAT sign.

O'Neal, Celtics A Mismatch
Jun 26 - There are ongoing discussions concerning a four-team trade that could send Pacers forward/center Jermaine O'Neal to the Celtics, according to league sources. But those same sources said that it is extremely unlikely that O'Neal will ever play in a Boston uniform. Celtics executive director of basketball operations Danny Ainge has never been a big fan of O'Neal's, and there remains the not-so-small matter of O'Neal being able to opt out of his contract after next season.

If the ill will between O'Neal and Boston did not present enough of a stumbling block, Minnesota vice president of basketball operations Kevin McHale was prepared to add another. According to league sources, McHale doesn't want to do the deal unless Al Jefferson is included in the package sent to the Timberwolves. -- Boston Globe

# It's no secret that the Pacers and all-star forward Jermaine O'Neal are trying to end their seven-year relationship. O'Neal has held back no punches in saying he doesn't want to be part of a rebuilding project.

Now it's a matter of finding a team that wants to acquire him and has enough to give back in return.

That's been easier said than done. As coach Jim O'Brien said last week "the odds are against the fact that Jermaine will be traded. It's just reality." -- Indianapolis Star
