| I know why the Boston fans are all there, doesn't mean I have to like the situation. I'm just saying if you go to a game at your team's home stadium and the visitors crowd is just as loud as yours, it makes you want to see your team win that much more. Btw, Kotsay has only been playing like a week, he had back surgery at the start of the season. Less than 30 at bats, not 30 games. Their lineup isn't great, but its not terrible, and they've had a shitload of injury problems so far this year. They'll definitely have a shot to win the division if they can avoid getting too many more injuries. |

| The A's are pretty amazing. Every year it seems like they let their best players go, and they come back just as good. Would be nice if the Rangers could even get some decent pitchers, EVER!!! God they suck. Haren is hands down the Cy Young winner at this point in the season. Every statistic has Beckett beaten by a mile with the exception of W/L, which is completely not his fault (Haren has only given up 3 ER in one start out of 13 I believe). It bugs me they put such an emphasis on W/L... almost makes it more of an offensive award than a defensive one. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Yeah, it's 9 games or something, my bad. As for Haren, I don't know what to think about the whole W/L deal. The game is more offensive now then it was even ...7 or 8 years ago (much more offensive). Look at Pedro's numbers from those years. They were flawless. Part of the problem is that there just aren't that many hall of fame pitchers in the game right now (at a young age around Haren's age). Pedro will most likely go into the Hall as one of the 5 greatest pitchers of all time. Look at Clemen's numbers and compare them to Pedro's numbers. In a time where pitching was dominant (as in the greats like Orel and people like that were pitching well under a 2.00 era), his BEST season was a 1.93. By comparison, Nolan Ryan in his 20th season was more effective than a young Roger Clemens. Clemens isn't as great as people think he is and if most people had to choose between Pedro and Roger, after examining the numbers, they'd pick Pedro. Anyways, sorry about the rant, was an argument with a friend. My point was that great pitchers win games despite run support. Haren is having a great start, but his ERA has risen every month. It'll be interesting to see what his ERA finishes at during the all star break. I'd say he and Beckett are close, but Haren is ahead of him right now. Don't forget C.C Sabathia, Paul Byrd, and Fausto Carmona. There are more players out there. It's been a great season so far, I hope it just stays this way. |

I am a replant. I moved so what? I am still a HUGE sox fan. I lived in Boston for 26 years and followed the Sox religiously, I am not going to stop cheering for the Sox because I moved. I still wear my "YANKEES SUCK" tshirt with pride. Red Sox NATION baby! BTW, whoever is bashing replants, try bashing people from New Jersey who think they are from NYC and dress and cheer for every NYC team. You know the guys, tight black tshirts with a silver chain around their neck and greased back hair. One of my college roommates was one of these guys. Get your own team NJ. As for the no hitter, I was watching that game and I was cheering for Curt but it looked like he had lost his juice. In the 9th every batter was putting good wood on the ball and a he left a pitch up in the strike zone. Still what a great pitching job. The Sox needed that win they had lost like the last 4 games. PS: The most fun I had as a Sox fan was going to every Red Sox playoff game in Angels stadium. I sat in a section and I swear it was all Red Sox fans. We basically had a war with all of the Angels fans. And thanks to Big Pappi we had the last laugh. GO SOX!!!

Even watching Lost a year or so later I still got out of my seat and cheered when footage of the final out of game 4 was used to convince Jack that The Others know of events in the outside world. (It was also a throwback to Season 1 of the show, in which Jack's father, claimed the Red Sox would never win the Series because they were cursed).

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | It was story book, but it was so nerve racking too. I had almost lost hope when there were 2 outs in game 4. Then Roberts stole second and scored and I was like, "we're winning this game." Once we won game 5, the series was over. There was no way the Yanks were coming back from losing both those games. Game 7 was probably the biggest dead man walking game in history since the 86 Sox lost game 6. The ironic thing was that they should of won game 7 too. |

+7 Internets | Before his last two blown saves, and Milwaukee's extreme cold streak, Francisco Cordero would have had a shot at the Cy Young if he kept up his performance. |
