There is going to always be horrible calls. YOu just have to learn to live with it. Some of them bad calls can hurt a game, you just have to move on. They are only human.

i'd be for a 2 "red flag" per team instant replay for ONBASE review instant replay..

balls and strikes no, but the guy missing the tag but the runner being called out, the runner being out and being called safe - or vice versa- each team can appeal 2 times a game,. would delay the game by maybe 10 minutes MAX.

as to the balls and strikes...they REALLY need to introduce a review process vis questec--and force the umpires to call games better. they could eliminate the plate umpire ball and strike calls completely if they wanted, with high speed camera's and computers the calls could be 99% accurate all the time. plate ump would be for foul balls, check swings calling time etc...and for saying your's out or ball or strike...and calling the plate plays

has anyone else noticed in this recent string of people blowing up at the umps they have in almost all of the situations gotten the calls right?

Yeah, the irony is the calls they're blowing, no one is eating their lunch for it. Not to mention, watch games on MLB Gamecast, and notice the HUGE discrepancy in balls/strikes. Pitches that are strikes are called balls, pitches a foot outside are called strikes. It's ludicrous.
