| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | I use to love NFL until I started watching NRL (aussie league rugby). Like, there's too much downtime in pro football. They've turned it into a complete spectacle. I love Rugby for the same reason I love soccer. There is a severe lack of stoppages and the game moves by quick. The nice thing about rugby league is even when there is a lack of scoring, teams still get close and the big hits and what not more than make up for it. Basically, I've been watching NRL for two years now (gogo North Queensland Cowboys) and I've come to realize that NFL is a pussified version of Rugby that takes entirely too much time and can be ridiculously boring at times. I also like baseball, so go figure. |

+31 Internets | The lack of tennis in this poll is disturbing, but I still voted soccer. Two sports with an unbeatable dramaturgy.

+4 Internets | To watch: Wrestling, MMA, Hockey, NCAA Football (I'll watch the Championship of any sport though) To 'play:' Wrestling, MMA, American Football I grew up in northern Minnesota so I know a bunch of hockey players still. I could never skate but I appreciate the intensity of the game, the games are also fun as hell to go to if you have good seats. -I think baseball is the most boring sport to watch, close to golf-personal opinion of course. NBA players piss me off for the most part. I think NFL is exciting for the first part of the season since it seems like it's been forever since you watched it, but then it loses any flair it had... Mostly cuz the Vikings suck, though. Last edited by Ironhawk; 06-12-2007 at 07:33 AM.. |
