| Sens in 6. Ducks aren't going to be able to match the Sens' intensity rolling just 3 lines and 4 defensemen. (Senators can roll all 4 lines and all 6 defensemen). Since the Ducks made the finals, the Oilers get their first round pick next year (conditional pick from the Pronger trade), so at this point i just need to see Pronger lose the cup in fewer games than he did as an Oiler. |

I'm still torn who I want to win. On one hand Fuck Pronger. On the other hand I'm sick of the East winning the cup and enjoy watching fans of Canadien teams suffer through their continued cup drought. Edit: Oh and I'm more okay with the Ducks winning the cup since the ditched the mighty. Got non-gay jerseys and Snoop Dogg became a bandwangon fan. Last edited by Ishad : 05-27-2007 at 01:25 PM.

| the R. Neidermayer, Pahlsson, Moen line will shut down Ottawas top line. Not to mention that they still have Scott Neidermayer with Frankie Beauchamin, then the Pronger, O'Donnel pairing. |

Empire is right. The Ducks have an excellent shut-down line, and the Sens' top line is going to be played well. It's going to come down to goaltending (of course) and whether or not the rest of the Sens can contribute (they will). This of course assumes each team stays out of the box, which is another question mark with the Ducks so far.

| I wont even go into the officals part of the game. Ok maybe I will. The officials might as well be the Sen's fifth line because im sure the Ducks with have someone in the box on average 10+ minutes of the game. The NHL already is favoring Ottawa by having all games at 8pm eastern. |

They might shut them down for what? One period, two at best. Until they run out of juice. Also, who's gonna score with the Ducks? Mcdonalds and Selanne? Haven't seem them doing much? The physical recruit line with Penner Perry and Getzlaf, I doubt they'll be able to stay as close to the net have they've been in the prior series when Chris Neil's there. As for the defensemen, what about those 10 minutes where Huskins and DiPenta come in? Won't be too fun when the Senators have someone on each line that can go around them with one hand tied behind their back. Anyway, I'm not too worried, when I'll fall asleep tonight, the Sens will be 3 victories short of bringing the cup back home.

| Ottawa's offense! Ottawa's Offense! No one can stop Ottawa's OFFENSE! Anyway, pretty good game. Ottawa got a good bounce on that first goal, Giggy lost his stick and his head on the second. Other than that, where was Ottawa's offense? Twenty shots vs Thirty-two? Going to be a good game 2, let's hope Ottawa shakes off the rust. P.s. Ducks in 5 or 6. | Even with the horrible calls against Anaheim, and the horrible non calls for Ottawa, the Ducks still pulled it off. 5 on 5 the Ducks dominated. I think it was like 32 shots for Anaheim and 20 for Ottawa even with a 5 on 3 for Ottawa. I think we can call that a shut down of every Ottawa line. |

| Just rust imo, they'll bounce back. And playing as poorly as they were, they still nearly tied it up in the final seconds. It's going to be a good series, that's what the first game told me. |

+4 Internets | Any of you duck fans know where I can find the breakdown of the ducks contracts and thier room under the cap? I'm interested to see if they can afford Giguere's upcoming mammoth contract or who they'll have to part with to make room for it. Also when is Ryan Getzlaf a UFA? |
