| I am watching the playoffs from Europe and enjoying them, but i have to say that none of the teams i have so far watched play both defense and offense well enough to earn the Championship, except the Pistons. I like the Suns and the Spurs very much and i think their series will be the true finals of the west but they both lack a well-rounded game. In short, whichever team of the two goes to the finals against the Pistons (and there is no doubt Pistons will be eastern champions) can be handled by Detroit's solid defense and low-turnover careful offense. |

| The Spurs are an as if not more complete team than the Pistons. Their defense is just as good and their offense is possibly better suited for the playoffs as Parker and Ginobli are better dribble penetrators than anybody on Detroit. That said, who knows who's gonna come out winning the Spurs-Suns series. No amount of defense may be able to slow down the Suns with Nash playing the best of his career, a healthy Stoudemire, Barbosa and Bell shooting very well. This is gonna be some good shit to watch. |

And i agree, the Suns-Spurs matchup will be great fun to watch. Spurs need to short-circuit Nash's amazing passing game which is all Suns are about, but i am not sure they can pull it off. Let's see how it'll play through, but i suspect a seven game series. | |

| IMO the better series was Utah vs. GS instead of Rockets anyways. Should be fun.

+1 Internets | Yeah. If I were a GS fan, I would have been cheering for Houston, because there is no way Yao would be able to play GS-pace basketball for even 38 minutes a game.

I cant believe that when the Lakers traded him, people were actually arguing that it was Kobe that should of been traded instead. LOL? WTF?

+2 Internets | Well, my Lakers took an early exit (wtb 1x garnett, wts 1x Bynum), but since they're the home team I'm looking forward to watching the Warriors beat some Utah Jazz ass. I'm guessing they can win, probably in 6 or 7. Their defense is solid, but that perimeter game really lit up the Mavs and put them away. If they can keep shooting that way, they'll be in every game, but it can't last forever... Too bad there's almost zero chance of them beating the Spurs, or god forbid the Suns (ihateyousuns) |
