I don't know about the Suns getting their ass handed to them each year. The last two years (Nash era is all that counts) we've had serious injuries and still reached the western conference finals each year. The Suns are a much better defensive team then people realize, if you look at point differential we're one of the top in the league. Our defense is solid, but our rebounding is what can kill us because its tough for us to prevent second chance points for other teams. If we minimize those nobody will be able to outscore us. And the thing Amare brings to the table is an interior presence who can guard Duncan and run the pick and roll very effectively with Nash. | |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Fucking SHOCKED right now. Not that GS won as I really believed that they had a chance and after game 5, I assumed they'd win at home, but Dallas just didn't show up. What's frightening is that if Houston wins, GS could sweep them. They don't match up well at all with GS and honestly, I still don't think Utah is that good. I'm gonna push for GS/Phoenix in the WCF. If that happens, good fucking lord will I be happy. THat will be a FUN series to watch. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | In Daisuke We Trust In case anyone wants to hear in full what I felt about the game and the series in general. I was amazed at how awesome that crowd is. If they could take 1 game on the road, they could beat anyone aside from San Antonio (that team is far too seasoned to be effected by a crowd). That crowd is a legitimate 6th man. Hat's off to Golden State and thanks for an entertianing series. I'm looking forward to a few more. |

| Romo is a manwhore | Dallas had a chance. They went in down by 2 at halftime, but apparantly they forgot to leave the locker room when the 3rd period started. I'm at work so I only had the ESPN Gamecast to look at as the Mavs fell apart. I gave up at the end of the 3rd and went back to web lurking. This is the second series in a row where Nowitski failed to show up. For someone who a lot of people are pegging as the league MVP, he sure as hell didn't show it. I'm beginning to hope Nash wins just so Dirk won't have to suffer. But yeah, if Houston wins, then it'll probably be GS in the WCF vs. the Suns. I know the Suns can run the ball as well as GS so I'm hoping for a Suns vs. Cavs/Pistons in the Finals, with the Suns finally winning the big one. |

+31 Internets | I didn't see much of the Spurs in the regular season, I am curious to see how they will do against the Suns in a 7 game series. But yeah, if GS can make it to the WCF, then Suns/Warriors would be insanely awesome. |

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | The Spurs are well, the Spurs. They're a veteran team with a ton of mileage, but I'd go to war with them. They basically tried to keep pace with Phoenix so they didn't have to play extra games (and vice versa). Phoenix can beat San Antonio though. It will be an amazing series to say the least. |

| Everyone said GS couldn't beat Dallas despite their regular season record, anyone who says the same thing about Chicago against Detroit is making the same mistake. I think Detroit will win, but it's going to be a tough series. The second round is pretty interesting because there are two series that you expect the final contenders to come out of, making those series so important. I hope Chicago does get out because the Suns have a tougher time against Detroit than Chicago, but the Spurs should be able to handle them regardless of who advances from the east. |

| not really. GS was an amazingly well coached team with some amazingly good players. just because they were injured half the season and lost all of those games doesnt change the fact. they are a very strong team in the playoffs and being the underdog they have nothing to lose. that in itself makes them a very dangerous team.

| Dont know about anyone else but im fucking glad GS raped Mavs. Mavs just coasted along through the regular season thinking noone would be a challenge in the playoffs this early and lo and behold they almost lose 4-1 and their MVP does jack and shit in the series, no fucking surprise to me. |
