Thing that's bugged me since the announcements(besides Mir) is the weight classes. They are doing 2 classes again, which I like. But the classes they are doing are Lightweight and Light Heavyweight. The 2 most stacked classes in the UFC. While their HW division withers away and dies, AND they have 2 HW coaches. I know they don't seem to like having people coach their own division, don't wanna help the opposition or whatever I guess. But still, if any class needs some fresh blood it's the HW division. Right now there's Cain Velasquez and no one else on the horizon really. And Cain is really green still.

I've said it before but I'm saying it again: I love the way they are showing TUF this year. Almost none of the stupid in house drama bullshit. just showing training and fighting. Get a much better sense of what the fighters really go through this way. I dunno if it's just because these guys aren't a bunch of numbnuts like Nate Diaz and Leben, or if it's a conscious decision by the producers to try and pick up the sagging ratings.

Spoilery stuff to follow.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Amir looked completely uncomfortable for the first 4 minutes of the fight and after that he was kind of impressive. He missed a lot of sub attempts he could have made, but he's still relatively new to the sport and I expect he'll pick up on that stuff as he goes on. Gerald Harris looked huge compared to him. He needs to work on his ground game a lot, slamming people is great and all but you have to do something once you get there.

2nd fight was sloppy as shit. Cale Yarbrough needs to spend a few weeks working with Lyoto Machida or something, absolutely no head movement and no attempt to deflect punches. Ryan Schultz threw nothing but looping rights and about 70% of them landed.

Is it just me or despite the having to win a fight to get into the house this season of TUF, do a lot of the fighters look really terrible? They all seem to gas about halfway through the first round, a lot of them have no ground game, and some of the guys that are supposedly good stand up fighters are really sloppy. Maybe I'm just remembering the past seasons' fighters as better than they really were on the show, but this season seems really shit skill-wise.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

I really wanted Rampage to win some more fights, but Amir seems like a hilarious dude. I'm not too disappointed that he won.

The second fight decision was bullshit, which seems to be a trend on TUF lately. That decision would be legit in Pride/Dream with full fight scoring, but Schultz clearly won the first round and the second round was not 10-8.

I figured at least the guys on Forrest's team would have decent cardio, but they all seem to gas even before round 2. Say what you will about Tito, but his dudes on TUF were in shape...

The Amir fight was pretty good, he made a pretty big comeback cause that other dude was just throwing him around.

Also Rampage is way diffrent then I thought he would be. Hes not a bully at all, seems like a pretty fun dude. looks like there going to have a supersoaker war next episode haha.

rampage seems like a pretty funny guy but I think a lot of that is to help diffuse things cause I think once he gets pissed he could really earn his name. Seen some flashes of it looks like he is a good guy with a really bad temper if you managed to fire him off I would not want to be around him once his temper goes.

All the interviews prior to Rampage being a coach this season showed him as a fairly funny/goofy, relaxed guy. It wasn't until TUF that I had heard him talk about his temper.

Anybody that has followed Rampage since Pride knows he's a very funny guy. Heck he brought a note from his mom to the ring before on of his fights. The note said "Please don't hurt my son, blah blah blah".
