| I was not much of a fan of war machine during the series but holy damn that right with J-roc was a war. I don't think either of those guys could have put anything more into that fight then they did. Both went at it 120% and war machine looked like he could hardly stand at the end of that fight. Neither of those guys were showing a single ounce of quit during that fight. Was a good show one of the better ones I have seen in a long time lots of guys fighting their asses off in some fun to watch matchups. |

| You can't say War Machine doesn't have heart. That guy took some serious damage from the bottom to his head, then the big knee in the stand-up that everyone thought was going to be a TKO. To scramble into mount and reverse the finish? Amazing. War Machine looked completely DONE before he reversed it, that was some Rocky movie type shit. He pulled deep within himself for that comeback and finish. I definitely want to see more War Machine. Hope he gets with a good camp. Last edited by jayrebb : 12-10-2007 at 04:24 PM. |

+11 Internets | The one thing that pissed me off in the Guida/Huerta fight was the knees to the head of a downed opponent rule. I fucking hate it, and it really fucked Guida over good. First when he almost lost a point for it, and later when Huerta just sat on one knee so Guida couldn't do much of anything til he threw a huge uppercut. Legal knees and Guida might have been able to end it either time.

+11 Internets | I read a quote from Dana White earlier this year that he was going around petitioning the various athletic commisions to get it changed. Heard nothing since then though.

+4 Internets | BJ Penn and Joe Stevenson fight for Lightweight title on Jan 19th rather than interim title due to CSAC upholding their decision to suspend Sherk for steroid use. They did reduce the suspension (wrongly IMO)from 1 year to 6 months so he will fight the winner of Penn vs Stevenson. Cant wait for this fight. UFC : Ultimate Fighting Championship Quote:

+2 Internets | So what was the reasoning of upholding their decision, yet reducing the suspension time? Was there some kind of evidence that showed it was possible he didn't use steriods or something? |
