Though it has only been about 5 months, I would assume him training full-time for the first time ever in his career will also be somewhat of a factor. However, I doubt a whole lot has changed in that little time. Nonetheless, I'm really excited about the whole card...can't wait for tomorrow nite.

Irrelevant since we all know Rogers is going to look like a slug on a stick tomorrow night. Rogers misses a ton of shots, Fedor's camp is right. He missed 4 shots trying to finish Glassjaw Arlovski against the cage.

I like Rogers but he is being promoted out of his league. Why? Because Ubereem can't put down the drugs long enough to get a fight in the USA. You guys really think Dream/K1 pays more than a fight on CBS against the #1 HW in the world? K1 is peanut money compared to that, its like 60-80k a match over there.

Actually its the other way around IMO. Rodgers is undoubtedly the hungrier fighter, the fighter with more to lose. If he gets aired out he will be right back at square one. If Fedor loses he will still be relevant.

That really depends on how he loses. A flash KO in the first 2 minutes might get ignored completely. It worked for Chuck "I got caught" Liddell. Anything later on in the rounds and people would be saying "yeah I saw him getting tooled by Arlovski too, fedor sucks, washed up, sign of the times" etc.

Jayrebb touched on it before but Fedor definitely has the early Mike Tyson aura going for him where people lose the fight in their minds before it happens.

I think Rogers is going to come out blazing and get dropped. No way in hell Fedor loses this fight. The only reason Rogers is getting any hype is because they have to sell the fight. They sell his striking
like he's a death machine. Could you imagine Overeem v Rogers since it'd likely stay standing? Rogers would die.

The funniest thing about this fight is that the ones who are thinking Rogers is going to win believe it's going to be a flash knock out. There is nobody in the world that believes Rogers is going to dominate the fight overall.

I think that speaks volumes.

Fight of the Night could be Shields vs Mayhem. Mayhem looked to be in the best shape I have ever seen him in at weigh-ins yesterday. It should be an awesome fight and can easily go 5 rounds.

It can also be the most boring, since Mayhem has very good submission defense and isn't afraid to end on the ground.. so it could be a 5 round grappling match.
