I was rooting hard for Akiyama, but I'm actually a bit shocked that he won. He's very small for a middleweight and cuts a lot less weight than people are used to cutting in the states.

I'm glad to see two Korean guys do well in the US league. I know some of my buddies back in Seoul are going crazy right now.

Fuck that side mount one-trick bastard. All he did was side-mount and lay there swinging his fat fucking arms the first round. Second round looked promising, with Brock actually letting Mir back up to his feet for a good striking match - but oh no, soon as Mir started rocking Lesnar's head with some knees, Lesnar's gotta go back to his gimmick - side mount AGAIN until it was over.

Mir did fuck up, but I still think Lesnar is an incredibly huge tool.

Mir didn't fuck up in the ring against Brock, he fucked up by shit talking like a bitch and THEN getting back in the ring with Brock.

I'm not a Frank Mir fan, infact the entire heavyweight division is pretty much my least favorite part of the UFC. I do like that Lesner is part of it now and the way he fights, incredibly strong and aggressive and just looks dominating everytime he's in the octagon.

That said I'll never be a fan of his. I'm a fan of the way he fights and that he's brought some sort of appeal to his division, but fuck a man who gets in someone's face after beating them down. He was clearly the better fighter going in and I was surprised at just how many UFC fans wanted him to win. A big part of who I like are these personalities, it's just like WWE (or WWF or whatever it is now) in that way like it or not. I don't see what's appealing about a guy who outweighs and outpowers everyone and then acts like that after a win. Talk about acting like you've never been there before. I bet you Brock Lesner fans also loved the Yankees, Cowboys and Lakers. You probably liked the Chicago Bulls in the 90s as well. It's a big reason I was hoping Henderson would knock out Bisping. I know Mir talked some shit as well, but I really don't see him in lesnars face then headbutting and spitting on the cage had he won

His ancestors were vikings or something amirite, cut him some slack if hes still "bloodraged" after winning a battle against a taunting doucher like Mir. Its part of the sport.

Lesnar's prefight comments were mild compared to Mir's over the top cocky comedy, mocking Brock's GNP and decisions in fights. He broke Lesnar down line by line during the UFC 100 Countdown. Lesnar kept it pretty basic and stoic (he has to be coached to smack talk, he hates any media interviewing) Mir went real deep and got under Lesnar's competitive skin. So grats on the beatdown, pack your bags Mir. Sounds like you are just irked that Lesnar talks with his fists, instead of making witty comments in the studio pre-fight.

Mir was doing a lot of clownish humor regarding Lesnar's legitimacy. It was really off-color compared to the 4-5 words Lesnar was saying. Lesnar would say a few quiet spoken words, Mir would do a stand-up comedy roast.

Anyone who says Mir wasn't completely clowning and discrediting Lesnar on unprecented levels is an idiot.

Notice how Lesnar never came up with the horseshoe shit until Mir became really disrespectful first. The horseshoe analogy about luck never came out until Mir prompted it. Nuff said.
