| One thing that impressed me about Gonzaga was that he did one of the things Hunt and Fedor did in their decision wins against Crocop. You gotta set the pace and keep the pressure on Crocop, not the other way around. Still, I wasn't expecting him to out kick Crocop. Seems like this is the year of the upset. |

+1 Internets | Dana White is a total knob. In his effort to build a bunch of contenders he ends up losing them because of his stupid matchups. One thing the Fertita brothers would be wise to do is get whoever does matchups in Pride to do them for UFC. I can't see any reason why Fedor would want to come to UFC. Dana in his disdain for all things Pride will make him fight three chumps that he gains nothing by beating and risks everything by losing, just so he can have the privledge of fighting the natural. If I'm Fedor I say F'it and wait for the "Superbowl MMA tourney" where UFC fighters come to him. And yes elbows on the ground are total garbage. Every time I see yet another boring UFC fight I think. "Why can't there be yellow cards?" |

| Wonder if we'll be seeing Gonzaga vs. Nog anytime soon. If Mirko doesn't retire maybe this'll just piss him off and get him to go apeshit special forces on his training regimen. Who knows. Really hope he isn't callin it quits, though.

+4 Internets | Watching that fight was just painful. Is it just me or was Crocop doing nothing but trying to set up a kick? He didn't even throw a punch, just breaking contact every time. And just like his Randleman fight the second he starts shifting his weight to kick *BAM* knocked in the fucking head. Having a signature move is great and all, but trying to get a photo finish for the UFC crow is whatever. At this point, I want Fedor to just retire. Just go out the champ and use the merging of UFC and Pride as the opportunity. The last thing I want to see is Fedor lose from some fluke knockout or from a cut and then have to listen to Dana White talk shit about Pride. |

+34 Internets | I have seen the difference in a car accident between sober people and drunk people. The drunks don't get as injured because they don't resist the impact. I believe that in Cro Cop's case that when he was dropped, he was totally out, and his muscles didn't tense in the slightest, which caused minor or no tearing at all. I had a pit in my stomach when I saw it. My girlfriend cried. It's unfortunate, but Gonzaga had a game plan and followed it with 100% believability that he could accomplish it. He came in as the better fighter and I respect his win. Cro Cop said what anyone would say after losing. It is a very depressing moment in a fighters career to be on top for so long and have the legs pulled out from under you so quickly. He will most likely be in seclusion and will be back within a year. With his knockout, I'm sure the NSAC is going to suspend him for 3-6 months and I haven't read anything about any leg injuries yet. Bisping fight was called justly. Elvis almost had it for a moment and lost it suddenly. There was no way he was going to recover from that. I do not blame Arlovski for is fight. What did everyone want him to do? Swing for the fences and get caught like he did against Tim Sylvia? He played it smart and Fabricio knew he couldn't out strike him. |

| I think Randy will win Gonzaga even tho Gonzaga is bigger than him. Randy has hung with the best BJJ fighters. Couture has striked with Liddell and Sylvia. His careful gameplanning will win it for him. fuck Crocop. fucking bastard made me lose a bet. |

+1 Internets | Fedor needs to fight Couture. I love Randy but I want Fedor to ground and pound him in grim fashion. Then retire the greatest fighter MMA has seen. The look from Stupid, bald, White's face would be sweet if that happened. I originally like what White was trying to do for MMA in North America. Somewhere he turned into Vince Mcmahon(sp?). You're a suit. Quit showing yourself on camera for no reason. |

| that gif kinda shows an innacuracy in cc's demeanor though. it's not like cc didnt touch gloves with him, he just waited for the ref to stop talking, then put his hand out. it's not like he just straight up disrespected gg and took an asswhooping for it, he touched gloves like he should and then took the asswhooping. |

| God I saw that kick CC took and thought holy shit bring out the stretcher but the guy was standing up at the end talking to the mic. He blocked low the other guy kicked high and I don't think anybody no matter how tough you are can take a kick like that to the head and not get their lights punched out. He did well to walk away from the fight at all and not wind up with a broken leg/ankle/skull. |

I'm sorry, but which BJJ fighters has he actually hung with? I can think of one off the top of my head...Vitor. Other than that, the other two submission grapplers he's faced that were significantly bigger than him, Ricco and Barnett, whooped on him. | |
