That is a very healthy outlook=D A very glass-is-half-full kinda deal. No matter what, someone you dislike is gonna get pummeled.

I actually kind of like Leben. Dude is obviously a drunk, but at least he has heart. The cornrows are a tribute to Evan Tanner, so I don't see how you fault him for that.

The fact that a dead dude wore a stupidass hairstyle does not make it OK. I was a huge Tanner fan from way back but when he came in with that hair against I think it was Terrell, a little piece of me died. *sob*

BTW I enjoy watching Leben fight, just like I enjoy watching Bisping fight(sometimes). Doesn't change the fact that both are insufferable douchebags and eminently hateable.

Anyways, he should have rocked this look if he really wanted to pay tribute.

Well I guess it was only a matter of time. Affliction is starting their own TUF type show. Only the winner of this one gets to fight Fedor.

Fedor

How is that any sort of prize for the winner? We're going to let you make a small name for yourself then everyone gets to see Fedor eat you alive

Tomorrow, well today I guess is UFC 89! Predictions fellas?

[Main Card]
Michael Bisping vs. Chris Leben - IMO this will go the distance. I really want to see Leben KO Bisping, but Michael a better overall fighter.
Keith Jardine vs. Brandon Vera (However Jardine is +175, if I had some spare cash I'd bet on him right now.. He has a great camp. Greg Jackson ftw.)
Luiz Cane vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou
Chris Lytle vs. Paul Taylor - Not so sure about this one..
Marcus Davis vs. Paul Kelly

[Prelims] - I'm guessing for most of these :P
Akihiro Gono vs. Dan Hardy
Shane Carwin vs. Neil Wain
David Bielkheden vs. Jess Liaudin
Terry Etim vs. Sam Stout
David Baron vs. Jim Miller
Per Eklund vs. Sammy Schiavo

***This airs on tape delay on SpikeTV at 9pm-Midnight, please use spoiler tags before the event ends on Spike.***

I'm not too sure on my predictions this time around, but meh--I just hope the fights are good.

UFC 90 is next Saturday! Anyone want to start up a UFC fantasy league? It's basically the same thing we do here here, except you also pick how the match finishes, in what round, and in what minute.

Is this a sign of Fedor retiring?

Him talking about training young athletes, his lack of recent fights, and now he participates in finding someone to beat/replace him?

I'd love to see a good fight for Fedor, but it would be more interesting to see a fighter already known, working his way up the rankings and proving himself.

I'm sure theres lots of unknown talent out there, and i'm sure there will be a vigorous screening process, but the fact 'marketability' is even a factor when choosing a fighter to face Fedor just seems lame to me.

Isn't Fedor only like 33? I see no reason why he would retire unless there's a medical reason we're unaware of.

Sure, he's talked about training others, but I believe he already does that and from what I can tell his own personal training regime takes place with others who are training as well, which seems to be different from say, Lesnar who has a bunch of people come in and train him.

I met big nog today since he opened a gym here and I'm a member.

A. Nicest and most genuine dude you'll ever meet.
B. Strong as HELL. Holy cow i didn't expect him to be so motherfucking strong. His hands are like grabbing a 3lb rib-eye steak.
C. He signed my pride shirt and talked me up about the old days.

Great guy!

I'll be at his seminar tomorrow so I'll take some pics.
