| Machida vs Rampage, Evans vs Griffin is probably how things will pan out. I don't think the promoters are ready to put Machida into a title shot yet, given the lack of fan fair. They need to get his name out there, and he needs to finish fights. Regarding Hamill, he fought a really stupid fight. He could have made things interesting if he stuck to his strengths, but in the end Franklin would likely have still won. Gotta love the Bas Rutten special though, god that looked painful. As for Evans vs Lidell, wow. During TUF2, and his first few fights in the UFC afterwards, I couldn't fucking stand watching him fight. His attitude and his boring style drove me nuts, but god damn has he gotten good over the last year. He does need to stop playing with his nipples though. And finally, UFC 89. Beyond Machida, this card looks fucking horrible. Every time Bisping fights, I hate him more and more. It's not even his fault really, unless it's been his idea to mostly fight in the UK vs scrubs. The UK needs to pound out some more talent, or the UFC needs to stop going there. |

+22 Internets | Brown/Dong - Was impressed with Brown giving it his all. Dong gassed pretty fast though. Judges scored the fight correctly Marquardt - Looked awesome and has a nice TKO. Kamp might have just been very rusty but nate would have still beat him. Palhares - This guy is going to be a top MW. Dan just has much more experience and is a very bad matchup on both sides. Franklin/Hammil - For those saying hammil had a shitty game plan for trying to strike with Rich obviously didnt pay attention to the first round. Franklin has a very solid ground game and the second hammil put him on his back he was almost in an armbar within a couple seconds. Franklin had the fight either way Liddell/Evans - Not anything I expected, I really cant stand Rashad but I have to give it to him for standing with Liddell Also I see Machida or Thiago getting the next Tittle shot depending who wins. The Rampage/Silva fight is to far away to wait for the results.

Edit - I guess Rashad gets next Title shot. God I wish Tito wouldnt have been deducted that point. He didnt even win the fight against Bisping imo

+5 Internets | Hey Darph, or anyone else knowledgeable for that matter, do you have any opinions or have you heard anything about this BJJ gym? Anibal Lobo Gracie Jiu Jitsu Team Pedro Sauer, Clackamas, Oregon Since it's Gracie I'm assuming it's at least decent, but I really don't know. They just opened up a new gym in my area. Two of my friends just starting and really liked the first class, and they have what seems like a pretty good grand opening deal right now. For $100/month you can go to as many of the 9 classes as you want per week. |

The initiation fee is another thing I wouldn't agree with. What if I don't care to be a member of the Pedro Sauer Association and why should they need anything other than my first months dues? It's not like they have this huge amount of processing paperwork they have to do for new members that justify anything other than first months dues and the cost of a Gi if I don't already have one. Like I said, bullshit. The head instructor did train with Grand Master Helio and his son Rickson but I don't see any endorsements nor any affiliation with another school other than Pedro Sauer. They might have all of this but I didn't see it on their website. I've trained at a Gracie/Barra school in the past and now at a Royler Gracie/David Adiv school and I've never had to pay an association fee to roll. That's shit crazy to me.
