| Wow the guys at elitexc are full of it. The vp on inside the mma last night was saying how that if anyone beats Shamrock it puts them in legendary status and that only the best of the best have ever beaten him. Who are they kidding? |

| Yeah but Lesnar is going to have a really tough time with Randy who can actually put him on his ass. They have different wrestling styles. I think Lesnar needs more training in other martial art forms to be truly effective against the top fighters, maybe in a year or two he will be really, really good but I think for the November fight he is coming in as a clear underdog. In any case, I do think he showed enough in the Herring fight that he can compete at that level and I wouldn't underestimate him. Randy should win the fight, but I think he will put up a much better showing then people are giving him credit for and you never know, anything can happen. |

+2 Internets | So here are my picks for tonight. Liddel vs Evans - I think Rashad has a chance to beat Chuck if he has the same game plan that Jardine did and just never trade with him. However, I think Rashad will get to aggressive and Chuck with catch him. Franklin vs Hamil - It will be interesting to see if Franklin can stay off his back. Hamil is going to come in quite a bit bigger and stronger, however he has shown he can gas early. I think Rich will probably prove to much for Hamil in the standup. Marquardt vs Kampmann - This is a tough call. Obviously Marquardt would have won his last fight if it wasn't for the point deductions. Kampmann looked good in his first fight back after a long layoff. Really not sure about this, but going to say Marquardt will take it. Henderson vs Palhares - I don't know enough about Palhares to say he could beat Henderson. With Henderson coming off of two straight losses, I think he is going to come out hungry. Dong vs Brown - by KO |

+11 Internets | Liddell vs Evans - Rashad get too aggressive? You see his last two fights? Anyways, Jardine has pretty vicious leg kicks, and I don't think Rashad does. I think at some point he'll try to set up a shot with punches and end up getting put to sleep. Franklin vs Hamill - My head says Franklin but I'm really pulling for Hamill. It's an absolutely huge step up in competition for him, and Franklin can put anyone out if he lands punches. But in Hamill's last fight he ate some monster shots and barely slowed down. And there's just not enough good GnP guys in the big leagues right now. He has all the makings to be an absolute animal at it. Marquardt vs Kampmann - Nate the Great by smothering=/ I'd like to see Kampmann come in and KO his ass, but he's kinda small for 185 and I'm not sure he'll be able to create distance. Henderson vs Palhares - Palhares is an amazing sub guy. His BJJ and transitions have looked amazing. But Hendo has a good sprawl, and I'm hoping that after the Silva fight he won't be so quick to take it to the mat. Dong vs Brown - Absolutely Dong by KO. After 70-80 elbows. So like I was saying, there's not enough elite GnP guys now. But that looks like it could be changing with Hamill and Dong, and if Lesnar keeps improving he could be the second coming of Mark Coleman. Just tackling the heavyweight division and pulverizing it in to submission.

| Liddel vs Evans - Going go out out on a limb here. Evans' striking has massively improved, and I can see him using it to get the fight down where he should be able to dominate. He's probably the best wrestler Liddel will have ever faced, combined with him getting old, might spell an upset. Franklin vs Hamill - I too want to see Matt win this fight, but I don't think he will. Sure, he can take it down to the ground at will, but unless his GnP has drastically improved, I don't see him being able to finish. Franklin will probably pull off a triangle or roll into an arm bar. Henderson vs Palhares - Unless Hendo's confidence has been totally shattered by his two losses, he should walk away with this one. Palhares may have a good ground game, but good luck getting it there. I think he's totally outclassed here. Marquardt vs Kampmann - Bit of a stretch, but we can only hope. Fuck people who fight for a decision. Dong vs Brown - Don't really know enough about Brown, only time I've seen him fight was on TUF. Hard to gauge a guys talent based on those fighting conditions. Regardless, I think he's outclassed no matter where the fight goes. |

+22 Internets | I'm excited the most about the Franklin fight the more I think about this card. I wonder how much of a different fighter he is going to be with not having to cut weight.
