Hell of a card tonight and was well worth the $50 I spent. Fedor is the best fighter to have ever lived and there's no question about it. Anybody who does is a pure UFC Fanboi/Fedor Hater and doesn't see reality.

I don't think it's fair to say that Randy Couture "struggled" with Sylvia. It was a 25 minute ass whooping. Randy could probably have stopped their fight in the first round after dropping Sylvia, but he chose to play it safe. Fedor was just clearly not afraid of Sylvia's power AT ALL while Couture showed him a lot more respect.

Fedor is the fucking man, though. It's incredible to me how he consistently finishes fights. Punch him to the ground. Submit him.

I totally agree. Randy never struggled at all with Sylvia, and was never in any danger during their fight. Granted he didn't beat Sylvia in 36 seconds, but struggle isn't the right word for it.

Agreed. Poor choice of words.. Randy didn't finish Sylvia, and even though Big Nog pulled out the sub, I was scoring Sylvia over him until that point.

I'm not a fan of Sylvia, but Fedor just dominated this man in 36 seconds. 36 seconds. A top five heavyweight! I'm hoping Barnett will fight Fedor in October, but I don't see any current MMA fighter standing a chance against Fedor. Maybe if BJ Penn or Anderson Silva gained some weight.. Until then Fedor owns the HW division... Unless KIMBO can take him.

Great first show for the Affliction people. I really hope it pulled in enough viewers to eventually become a regular event.

Between Affliction fights I was switching to UFN, caught most of the fights but what the hell was going on in the Burns/Johnson fight. How was that not a NC or even a DQ?
