"As TMZ first reported, the just-defeated UFC champ was busted this afternoon for alleged felony hit and run. Now we have the details -- and they're insane! Rampage was on the 55 Freeway in the O.C., hit two cars and got off the freeway. The chase was on.

Rampage then began driving on the center divider. But it gets worse. According to the police report, Jackson then drove on the sidewalk, "causing pedestrians to flee for their lives." He started driving the wrong way on a crowded street, colliding with yet another car in an intersection. As he continued on, running several red lights, his tire disintegrated and he began driving on the rim.

Rampage eventually got to the exclusive Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, where he again drove on the sidewalk, "causing pedestrians to flee in terror."

Eventually, his car came to a stop and he was taken into custody at gunpoint. Cops took him to the Orange County Jail, but they determined he was "medically unfit" to be booked. Cops won't say if he was high.

Rampage is currently in an O.C. hospital."

Medically Unfit? What does that even mean.

Watch the whole thing be played off as him having a drug problem. He'll end up getting probation and sent to rehab. 6 months from now he'll return to the UFC and pull in huge PPV numbers.

Looks like its true though. Rampage must have gotten real frustrated over losing the belt the way he did.

Remember Rampage originally gave Forrest credit and said straight up he lost.

Then Juanito is in his ear along with the fans 24/7 telling him he got robbed. That is going to drive you to do some hard partying.

So it sounds like part of the originally story were incorrect.

Reports overnight stated that Jackson had been deemed medically unfit for booking and taken to a hospital in Orange County. Sgt. Chamberlin of the Costa Mesa Police Department, however, told MMAWeekly.com, “(Jackson) was deemed medically fit to be booked at our jail here at Costa Mesa.”

Really quite curious to see how this plays out.

Its a dangerous step up for Bisping. Chris Leben is a big mid-level name. He doesn't represent MMA, but thats not always what people want to see. Especially the UK fans. I aready predict a loss for Bisping. I don't think any stand-up fighter can decision Leben. Hes too active. Leben goes out to KO or get KO'd. And Bisping isn't KOing anybody. Terrible matchup for Bisping, and therefore makes a medicore headliner for people that want to see the British paper champ lose all his marketing dollars. Thats just wishful thinking though, Bisping will lose his marketing when he quits fighting.

Great Anderson Silva interview up on Sherdog, worth the read. I rarely check out text interviews, but it was worth it. Silva has a lot of philosophy behind him. Hes a very collected guy.

If Rampage kept his mouth shut and lawyered up, none of those charges should stick. As long as theres no concrete proof that he hit someone. Which from the pics, the whole thing looks like a farce.

Yeah thats really a guy trying to get away. Rampage isn't stupid, he knows what hes driving and who he is. Smells like racism, and I rarely play that card, because I hate liberals.

Whole post is full of awesome. I mean let's not discount the fact that you only see pictures of half the truck and coincidentally enough the side the tire is blown on is the side you see no pics of. Not saying his tire may necessarilly be blown because of the alleged accident...but it's a little more logical than saying "NO WAY IN HELL IS THIS TRUE!"

If a cop has his lights on and you don't pull over it's evasion. Period. It does not matter what the cop is pulling you over for and I sure as fuck do not think they're pulling him over with guns drawn for absolutely no reason.

But I am glad that you were on scene to give us a step by step recreation.
