I don't know if anyone of you know about this, but there is a fight this weekend. Yup, its even got Rampage fighting Forest.

And the favorite of mine Jorge Gurgel. Seriously is this guy a fucking retard?

Does no one give a shit about this card? I know Grimmlock won't order it cause he has no friends and is poor, but I think this card is pretty tight.

MAIN CARD

* Ricardo Almeida vs. Patrick Cote Fuck you cote, your going down.
* Joe Stevenson vs. Gleison Tibau yay
* Josh Koscheck vs. Chris Lytle Lights out for Kockboy
* Marcus Aurelio vs. Tyson Griffin yay

PRELIMINARY CARD

* Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Justin McCully yay
* Jorge Gurgel vs. Cole Miller fag
* Melvin Guillard vs. Dennis Siver Guillard is back!!
* Justin Bucholz vs. Corey Hill sure

Internet toughguy alert!

And yes, sitting alone watching a PPV live is sad time. It's like watching the Super Bowl alone or something. It's a social event. Go make some friends besides Mr. Fluffy the cat and your mom and then give it a try.

Not that your mom can watch with you anyways, being tied up to my bed and all.

Won't be in town for this one, so will either catch it at some hick bar out in the country, or catch it when I get back. That said, the card actually isn't bad. Really looking forward to Aurelio's fight. That's prime betting right there since Griffin is a fairly heavy favorite.

I keeps it real?

Just checked the Dream 5 card for the 21st. Besides the GP fights of Aoki/Uno and Kawajiri/Alvarez they have Kid Yamamoto fighting. And Denis Kang. Good shit. And they are doing the final that night also right? Pride style. I'd love to see Aoki/Alvarez in the final.

And Yamamoto is a fucking animal. I'd kill a whole box of kittens to watch him fight Faber.

I never really cared for Mayhem, his personality or his style. Glad he lost, and what a shitty loss, fight it was.

And yah fight twice that night to become victor.

Ill be getting 86.

Only care about Koscheck, Rampage, and maybe Aurelio + Cote on the main card.

The preliminaries interest me more than Joe Stevenson's can fight.

Overall the matchups look good, I don't see many decisions happening on paper.

Koscheck could go to decision, but he can also look good doing it. Im hoping Koscheck will use his wrestling to keep it on the feet and get a late round stoppage on Lytle. Technically Koscheck's kickboxing is sound, but he has yet to demonstrate any KO power. Aesthetically it looks good. Although I have noticed hes not confident about finding his range in his last fight, a good kickboxer wont keep checking his range like Koscheck does. Ill definitely be watching for that aspect, because it will mean he can mentally judge the distance instead of throwing his air-jab every 2-3 seconds.

Is that cause Gleison Tibau is not that good, or are you some sort of douche bag that doesn't like Joe Daddy?

I have respect for Joe Daddy. Its just that Im not interested in seeing his first fight climbing back up the ladder again. Im never interested in the first step back up the ladder. I dont think I watched any of Franklin's climb to a 2nd title shot, period.

There are more compelling matchups on the undercard. But like I said, I have a feeling very few fights are going to decision. We should be able to see at least 2 undercard fights, if not 3.

There's a new video on Sherdog that has Big John explaining the new unified rules and addendum's that were passed this week.

lol shit. check out the UFC.com videos.

Rampage is hilarious only when hes not trying to be funny. "i might as well take my belt off and whoop Forrest's ass". "tune in if you want to see an ass whoopin" And many more quotables. A+

Any predictions for tonight?

I'm cheering for the hometown win for Forrest, but I personally don't see how this ends any differently than Rampage/Liddel or Griffin/Jardine. Rampage has knockout power, and I don't think Forrest does.

In fairness, it's very possible that a lot of his friends just don't like UFC. I mean, I have a few friends who enjoy MMA, but not enough to order a PPV. So by your logic, I should go to a bar, pay a door fee and watch it on a shitty TV? Fuck that. I'd much rather sit home, talk to a few of my friends who now live on the other side of the country and talk about it. But that's just me. I'm really not a bar person.

This looks like a pretty good card. I hope Griffin fucks up Rampage though.

Spoilers below:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I'm happy with the result. Solid main event. Some people felt that Forrest didn't win that decisively, but rounds 3-5 were a crap shoot with Rampage having a shot to put it away when he had him on the ground in round 4. Not only did he not finish him off, he went off and allowed Griffin to lock in TWO triangles. The second one actually caused Rampage to release and stand back up. He was clearly hurt in the 2nd round with that leg and I think it really effected his ability to land any serious shots. Not once in the last three rounds did he ever clearly rock Forrest Griffin and Griffin landed a couple serious shots on Rampage.

I thought it was a pretty good fight and the right call with Forrest winning decisively.
