Maybe since Diaz is off, they can put Kang back in. It would be ass-backwards. But Aoki is back in after getting pulled so anything can happen. If I was Diaz, I would be furious.

+11 Internets | So far pretty much everyone on the show needs to work on their cardio a lot. I like the way the show is focusing more on the gym and less on the antics this season. Even in the episodes with only 1 fight.

| Nice sounds like Diaz is ready to get back on the victory road. Drastic weight cutting Gabe Rudiger all-nighter with a chaser of jet-lag. Good luck to him though. This certainly isn't the best opportunity to find his rhythm again given the conditions. Quote:

I can't see the UFC taking him off the card unless Leben wants off. Looks shit for the sport though. "Fresh out of jail" zero training, going to fight overseas. It says a lot about the politics of the UFC if Leben stays on the card.

| Nah. It doesn't leave him with shit. He got 35 days with 8 days credited. He will have just gotten out that day or near it. There is another fight that got scratched as well... This card is cursed, fuck ordering it. Son of a bitch. Kimbo is in town this weekend for training and people can see him at Elite MMA Training in Thousand Oaks. I won't be able to make it, anyone else going? MAIN CARD (TELEVISED) * Thiago Alves vs. Matt Hughes * Marcus Davis vs. Mike Swick * Rashad Evans vs. James Irvin * Brandon Vera vs. Fabricio Werdum PRELIMINARY CARD (NOT TELEVISED) * Martin Kampmann vs. Jorge Rivera * Thiago Tavares vs. Matt Wiman * Thales Leites vs. Nate Marquardt * Luiz Cane vs. Jason Lambert * Roan Carneiro vs. Ryo Chonan * Paul Kelly vs. TBA * Jess Liaudin vs. Paul Taylor * Antoni Hardonk vs. Neil Wain Last edited by Kindnugs : 05-09-2008 at 11:58 AM. |

+20 Internets | Leben seems like the kinda of guy that take the fight on only a few weeks training. He could always end up getting out earlier then people expect as well. It's a shame because I actually wanted to see that fight. |

+2 Internets | - LEBEN OUT OF UFC 85, BISPING EXPECTED TO FIGHT - MMA WEEKLY - Mixed Martial Arts & UFC News, Photos, Rankings & more He is officially out. Curious who they are going to give to Bisping now. As for TUF. Fuck I am so glad that Jeremy May got his face smashed. What a disgrace to the sport that guy is. Also, I know that these guys aren't full on professionals yet, but don't they all look really small for 185? It's seems each season the TUF fighters fight at the weight class for the show, and then drop down. Just something that crossed my mind after watching it. |

+20 Internets | Yeah, a lot of the TUF fighters will fight in a higher weight class just because they don't want to miss the opportunity. Plus cutting a lot of weight 3+ times in a month can't be good for you so fighting in a class closer to your walking weight makes sense. Maybe 1 in 10 guys actually stay in the weight class they fought in on the show. They should of just had LHW's this season if they wanted to boost up the MW divison. Rumor mill says Quarry will take Leben's place. |

+11 Internets | That's cool. Little reward for trying his ass off in the Starnes-a-thon. And yeah a lot of them do look fairly small, but by no means do all of them. CB Dollaway is a legit 185 fighter. That meathead Jesse Taylor actually looks big for 185. Zachrich, etc etc. Most of the guys are real 185 fighters. Not smaller classes who just took their shot when they could like Danzig last year.
