Great job!

Also, not really suprised about this (UPDATE)
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
but Aoki is out due to injury, JZ is back in the tournament.
Update: They can't come to terms with JZ's camp, so he won't be replacing Aoki.

Yeah my roommate showed me that yesterday in the game. Fucking lols. Reminded me of his self defense video... UFC should replace Goldie with Bas. It would be worth any extra money needed to get him onboard.

Wow that TUF decision last night was bullshit. I can't believe it even made it to the third round. The lay and pray guy needs to get run over by a beer truck.

God that would be awesome. That would make UFC sooooo much more enjoyable to watch.

Yeah that was some BS decision. I agree with Dana 100%, that judges need to put much more weight on damage inflicted. Sorry but taking someone down and not doing a damn thing should not win you the match.

I believe they just discussed that in the last Inside MMA. Bas suggested that if you score a takedown and do nothing with it, that they shouldn't count the takedown.

Yeah seems like a no brainer to me. I mean if BOTH guys do nothing, then I can see giving it to the guy who did make the takedown. But if the guy who made the takedown does nothing, yet the guy on the bottom is actually doing damage with punches, elbows, etc, he should be scored as winning the takedown.

Some judges do score it like that, some don't. The rules on judging that stuff is too flexible. Add to the fact I hate the 10-point system for judging for MMA.

- RICH FRANKLIN MOVING TO 205? - MMA WEEKLY - Mixed Martial Arts & UFC News, Photos, Rankings & more

I think that may be a good move for Franklin. I mean he really has beaten everyone at 185, except for Silva of course. Also, he is a pretty damn big middleweight. Could be interesting.

205 is so packed right now. I think it's a bad move for him, but he has no other choice really as long as Anderson is champ. He's too big to go down a weight class too.

Wandy vs Franklin should be the first fight!

- NICK DIAZ, JASON MILLER, OTHERS ADDED TO DREAM.3 - MMA WEEKLY - Mixed Martial Arts & UFC News, Photos, Rankings & more

Looks like Nick Diaz is going to fight a decent dude I have never heard of. 2 time Welterweight King of Pancrase so I'm guessing he doesn't suck. Why does Diaz always come out of fights looking like his eye has been skull fucked?

Mayhem is fighting some scrub. He always puts on a good fight, though.

He's big enough to pull it off, and iirc Machida was his only loss as a LHW. yeah 205 is packed, but he's not gonna beat Anderson, and there's no other point to staying in 185.

Agree. Plus there are lots of people who like to throw hands at 205, and I think Franklin is going to have the UFC's support for the change. Good matchups loom. I think Franklin is a decent guy, but he can't beat me so he may as well see what he can do up one div.

I see Rich being a strong gatekeeper at 205, and putting negative marks on future title contenders. Thats fine, but having a gatekeeper isn't profitable because the keeper never moves up in rank so he just makes new guys look bad. Rich walks at 210, even if he bulked up he would have to contend with Forest Griffin types who walk around at 240.

The biggest post-fight complaint from Wanderlei and Shogun were that the guys are so big in the UFC.

Theres a legacy there already at 185, and Rich has done better each time. Rich can get to the belt at 185, technically hes back in line for a title shot again right now. Why chase a question mark at 205? Id bet heavily against Rich getting a title shot at 205, its too deep.

Id say give him the 3rd shot, and then no more after that. Market it as "3rd times the charm" and hold it in Dublin Ireland. Have Rich say in the promo "I lost in my hometown, so now were taking it to Ireland for the luck, and hopefully the Spider is jet lagged enough to lose this time. If not, the 4th fight is going to be in Croatia, my team agrees that might be enough to throw him off his game. At this point were just aiming for jet lag" The UFC loves corny marketing.
