+11 Internets | I'd like to see the replay too. On the first few replays last night, I did not see a tap, and then on the last angle, 3 of us in my living room thought we saw a tap. Either way Serra got destroyed. |

| Franklin showed some real heart. I thought he was done for. That armbar had everyone flinching and it looked locked. Its good to see that getting demolished by Silva hasn't taken his heart out of the game. I was really worried about that. What a great turn around and Lutter looked like an absolute noob after the failed armbar. Mac is gonna be a force if he keeps improving and fighting like he did last night. He looked fresh and untouched at the end of the fight whereas the other dude looked like Quasimodo squirting blood tears.

| I'm watching the event now. How can anyone back up from someone who is doing the Screech Style of fighting? Seriously, how do you get into a professional MMA organization if you back up to that? Last edited by Haalen : 04-20-2008 at 12:20 PM. |

| First off, Jayrebb you've gotta be kidding me. You can't seriously be stooping to a new level of retardation. Secondly it's pretty obvious that for whatever reason Kalib was completely fucked in the head going into the fight. He had absolutely no confidence and looked like a broken man. Maybe his pet turtle died earlier that day. |

| Yeah. Kenny did a pretty decent job (he even looked like he borrowed one of Joe's shirts). But its not the same without a few random awesome comments like "rape choke", etc.

I watched the slo-mo replay. He moved his hand twice, but no tap on any object. They stopped it because that wasn't intelligent defense. GSP shot a takedown, gassed Serra. Stood for 1-2 seconds, then shot again. Overall a disappointing failure for all his talk. The GSP nuthuggers run deep around here. Coming into this fight it was GSP that had something to prove, and he didn't prove shit. Oh wow Serra can't wrestle. We already knew that. GSP needed to prove himself on the feet, and he didn't. So much for the "second coming of GSP", and all his sports psychologist's help. He still couldn't stand for the same amount of time that it took him to lose the belt.

GSP couldn't even stand for the same time it took him to lose the belt. GSP was scared to death to stand with a fresh Serra. He bitched up and took the Matt Hughes route right away, dominating a small lightweight on the ground. Congratulations Matt Hughes on winning your title back! fucking pathetic. I can't wait to hear the post-fight interview where someone asks him why he didn't stand with Serra.

+20 Internets | Good thing this is MMA and GSP can hide on the ground for the rest of his career... Go watch UFC 65 for the this new GSP you want so badly, but then again, he only stood with Hughes because he was afraid of the ground, amirite or what? |

GSP has looked good when he uses his stand-up, but he obviously wasn't confident enough to use it against Serra. That is a red flag to me, and GSP may not be the MMA all-star we all thought he was.
