I hope Kongo takes a fat shit on Herring.

I am really excited to see that Tanner fight. That motherfucker better not get cut. Seeing the last few fights that Okami had this will indeed be one hell of a fight.

I see Koscheck getting owned. And I will be happy as hell when that happens. What a cocky piece of shit that guy is who barely has any talent.

Im not making any picks on Silva vs Hendo guys, this is a fight i've been waiting a LONG time to see and i love both of these fighters. If i pick one i'll start cheering for one instead of enjoy the fight.

Let me put it this way. If Silva knocks out Henderson, I personally think he will be a greater fighter than Fedor, pound for pound. Dana White won't have to shit out that phrase anymore and everyone won't go "Well... There is that one guy", It will actually be true.

Heath Herring vs. Cheick Kongo
Kongo is a better striker. But just like Rampage, Herring has switched up how he trains drastically. Maybe we will see a change like we did in Rampage.

Alessio Sakara vs. Chris Leben
Boring fight to me.

Yushin Okami vs. Evan Tanner
Jon Fitch vs. Chris Wilson
Andrei Arlovski vs. Jake O'Brien
Luke Cummo vs. Luigi Fioravanti
Josh Koscheck vs. Dustin Hazelett
Diego Sanchez vs. David Bielkheden
John Halverson vs. Jorge Gurgel

How is Sakara vs. Leben a boring fight? I understand hating both guys, and even their styles, but boring? It should be non-stop action. But if are bound and determined not to like it I guess it will be boring.

Also, in general I think Silva has overtaken Fedor on the P4P list, almost entirely due to Fedor's inactivity. If they get him in there against Barnett, Khatironov, Mirko etc he'll be right back up there. Though not sure if he'd be ahead of Silva even then, if Silva crushed Hendo.

My Guesses:

Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson
I saw part of the preview show, and its good to see Henderson brought in Professor X, and Diabate to train with. I like both guys, but I think Henderson is more likely to pull it off.

Heath Herring vs. Cheick Kongo
I like Herring more, but if Kongo has spent time training take down defense, then Herring may be in seriours trouble.

Alessio Sakara vs. Chris Leben
Tough to pick, but Leben has already won a few fights just off one punch, so I think thats likely to happen again.

Yushin Okami vs. Evan Tanner
Lets see how all the time off effects him.

Jon Fitch vs. Chris Wilson
I expect Wilson to lose, but in 2006 at the IFL team finals I expected him to lose to Rory Markham. Markham had been tearing through the competition in the IFL, and then Wilson came out and wtfpwned him in the first round. I still think Fitch will win, but Wilson isn't some nobody.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Jake O'Brien
Even if this ended up being the greatest fight ever I doubt they'd air it even if they had the time.

Luke Cummo vs. Luigi Fioravanti
Josh Koscheck vs. Dustin Hazelett
I'm not sure if I'm picking Hazelett because I think he'll win, or just because I hate Koscheck's lay and pray.

Diego Sanchez vs. David Bielkheden
The only fight I've seen of Bielkheden was his fight with Ishida where he looked Huge at 160lbs. He seemed like a decent fighter, but he was super passive.

John Halverson vs. Jorge Gurgel
Someone needs to tell Gurgel that hitting your opponents fist with your face is a bad strategy.

Both are wild punchers. They just look for that big punch and will most likely counter punch the whole fight. I dunno, I never really liked fights who just try to land that 1 big punch. Just not that exciting to me. I can see that shit at local shows.

I wonder what happens if Arlovski ends up KO'ing or subbing O'Brien in some kind of spectacular fashion.

Arlovski pulls out a flying gogoplata but loses the sub of the night bonus to someone that slapped on a weak guillotine or something.

I was wrong on the kongo Fight Which I hate decisions like that, and I took a risk on tanner since I havnt seen him fight in a long time. I was correct on every other fight though.

Yeah the Kongo vs Herring fight really was close. I don't think I disagree with the result, but it really could have gone either way.

Anderson Silva is just an animal. I don't know who else they can send against him at this point. After the first round I thought Henderson was going to have a good chance to beat him. Guess not. I wonder if Silva would consider moving up to LHW just for the challenge.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good card. The Koschek fight was actually really good too. I saw the results of the other fights, wonder if they were entertaining at all.

Anderson still needs to avenge his loss to Okami, who seems to be the only person left at MW that Anderson hasn't killed. Wand is rumored to be thinking about moving down to 185 too, that would be a great fight. GSP has also expressed interest in moving up to fight Silva but I can't see that happening anytime soon. So there's still a few fights left for him, but I agree and would love to see him try out fighting at 205. So many good fights up there compared to the craptastic MW division.

Think Henderson is gonna move back to 205? He's made it pretty clear he prefers to fight at 205 and only moved down for the title shot. Maybe he'll want to avenge his loss and go for another shot at Anderson but it seems like he's more comfortable fighting at 205.

I'd love to see Paulo Filho or Mayhem Miller fight him. I'm pretty sure they would both lose, but who the fuck will he fight? Matt Lindland would be the next hurdle for him I guess, but I think he was just signed by that new upstart promotion. No one wants to see him beat Franklin again.

Yeah this makes about 0 sense to me. He loses his first fight and now gets to fight one of the top HW's?

Also, does anyone feel like it was kinda bullshit that Henderson got to fight for the title seeing as he lost his last fight? I know it's in a different weight class, but just seems wrong to me.
