  | Lesnar just needs more work. He looked so green and unfamiliar with the Octagon. While he was pounding Frank, I never felt that he had an advantage.

| Very fun card. Minimal judge's decision fights and lots of great action, even from Tim... Fights that flop back and forth or someone comes from behind are great too. And thanks for that gif of the throw onto the head. That shit was badass...

As a person who trained BJJ, I actually wasn't impressed by Lesnar at all. He is strong and big, but the way he was flailing around, he showed a pretty huge lack of experience and precision, plus if he's like all the big guys I used to train with, he'd be totally gassed and winded after 5-10 minutes. Getting himself almost caught in 2 armbars was pretty amateur, and the ankle lock was just pathetic (or maybe it was a heel hook, I couldn't tell). Plus he came damn close to getting triangled at least once (I'd have loved to see someone lose to a triangle in a headline UFC fight). I'm not saying he was "the worst I'd ever seen", he probably has a future in the UFC. But if he had been a joe-nobody, it would have been a totally forgettable fight with all of us saying how that gorilla needs to learn some real grappling and quit flailing like an amateur. imo, his trainers are going to try and get him to focus more on defensive skills against BJJ, and to be slower and more methodical. Ground and pound without any defense is just going to end him up losing to a endless supply of joint lock submissions.

+11 Internets | OK I didn't read everyone's replies to the event. I watched it and this is the facts. Emerson fight sucked and the decision was retarded. Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Good show, but it didn't compare to UFC80. Which I don't hold against it, that show was ridiculous. It was a good show, and the main fights had definitive endings. Good shits.
