+2 Internets | That's still pretty silly because even if it takes an hour you're going to communicate something as important as "DEXTER MORGAN KILLS PEOPLE," even if it takes taping a marker to your stump. That whole idea sounds lame to me, especially for a great character like Doakes, so that cements my decision to never bother with them. At any rate, that episode was fucking genius. The confrontation between Doakes and Dexter was just as I imagined it, and I was on edge most of the episode. This is going to be the longest week of my life. |

| I think whatever the ultimate resolution of the Doakes/Dexter situation is will revolve around the fact that they're both 'guilty' of doing the same thing, killing people who deserved to die. They wouldn't have had Doakes kill not one, but two people this season, one of them in pure cold blood, to not make some kind of connection between the two characters. I think they will come to some kind of mutual understanding.

+11 Internets | If Dexter killed Doakes and hid his body in the Everglades, the FBI would have Doakes as the #1 suspect and would never be able to find him to prove that he didn't do it. Fucking awesome episode though. The scene when Deb and Lundy's relationship came out, I had myself a good laugh. And God damn Dexter looked creepy as hell during the confrontation on the dock.
