found it, the cat is named mitty. from what i remember the room was for a.) GMs to hide in b.) "time-out" for bad players c.) safety-net for zoning bugs. not sure if there are/were multiple rooms, but the one is supposed to be between wc and befallen

Kitty Box was for bad players, who were bad enough to deserve a time-out, but not being bad enough for stricter measures.

CSHome is nice, but it's nothing spectacular. Kind of a Greco-Roman courtyard with a single room. The first level has a meeting hall, the GM vendors and such, and the lower level is the GM arena, which is done out in checkerboard fashion.

the good ol days, i remember zoneing into some zones and accidentally end up in one of those, one day i petitioned to ask for help to get out and i got a warrning on my account cause i was apparently left there by a GM...was very lame but whatever.

CSHome sucks. Little gay gardens and such. POSky was teh win.

I sorta miss being a Guide, but shifts -> door. I don't play EQ to have work shifts.
