| Lego's did indeed own. I'm not sure if they were "the best" though. In my childhood world they would have tied with play-doh. I played with Play-Doh all the time. The great thing about it is you could make demons/aliens/people out of it and then mutilate it in various ways as your army men fought it. BATTLE DAMAGE! Stab it with a pin really fast for machine gun damage! Stab it with a pencil for armor piercing rounds! Chop it with a pin, sword slice damage! Rip the top part of a "play-doh" monster up for explosion damage! Spend 30 minutes making an army of tiny star-shaped men just to have your monsters crush them underfoot. Man, play-doh owned, gonna go get some now!

As for making my own thing: 1.) I have no clue where they are, i think my parents gave em to my nephews like 8 years ago 2.) I remember during the last stint, i'd usually make something and paint it, or burn it for shits n' giggles! Now that i think about it, if the nephews have them, they must be thinking their uncle is one fucked nut! The best thing i made was a huge Robocop gun, way back when, then i painted it with ToePro (That black shit for your hockey skates, yeah i'm Canadian), and it had a trigger and all! Man, i wish i was that young again to do silly shit like that! Peace, | |
