So does anyone have any idea why every kind of streaming video completely fails for me? They all play for exactly 2 seconds, with no sound, then stop even though the buffer goes on and eventually finishes. I can skip ahead, where it will play for exactly 2 seconds with no sound before it freezes again. Applies to google video/youtube/break/everything.

Every once in a while they will all work fine, but it's rare.

Firefox 3, Xp SP 2, drivers all up to date...

Edit: not unique to firefox, same results with Opera...

Have latest flash installed...this is bothering the hell out of me.

Just happened to me the other night browsing this thread. Restarted my machine and didn't come back to that particular page when I first noticed it and haven't had a problem since.

This happens to me on my work computer almost every day, i usually just either restart firefox 3, or load the clip into IE and it works. Never happens on my home computer. Fucking annoying though! I assumed it was some sort of buffer/memory issue as it usually happens after i've been browsing for a while.
